Quality pen at very good price
This is a fountain pen bundle that includes a 5 black ink cartridges, 5 blue ink cartridges, ink converter, a pen sleeve and a Jinhao fountain pen. I believe the model is the Jinhao 88, but i couldn't find the real model number in the product description. Note that I bought this for myself originally, then gifted it to a friend to try to get them into fountain pens so I don't have it anymore. But I did like it a lot and was not trying to get rid of it when I gave it away. Build quality: the cap, section and body are metal (brass?) with a nice looking matte black finish. Has a nice bit of weight to it and feels well balanced to me. I got the impression of quality when holding it. Design: Understated, which I really like. May not be for those that like flashy pens. There is some fluting / grooving on the barrel that makes it a little more interesting to look at and feels nice to the touch. Nib, ink flow: I got the fine nib and it was very smooth, surprisingly so. Definitely smoother than my Lamy Safari. Ink flow was slow at first but it opened up after writing for a bit and the flow was good after that. This was one of the first pens I bought and I don't think that I flushed it with water when I received it. It might have removed this issue altogether. Also, I cannot remember which ink I used. It was probably one of included black ink cartridges or Hongdian black ink. Using a different ink may give different results. Pen sleeve: I actually really appreciated the included pen sleeve. I think it is a nice size, protects the pen's surface nicely and has a flap that tucks in to a strap so no part of the pen is exposed. I am trying to find out if / where I can buy the pen sleeves directly so I can protect more of my pens. Overall, I really liked this bundle. I thought the pen was good quality even before considering the price. The pen alone would be a good deal for the $10 I paid, but the fact that it comes with 10 cartridges, a convert and protective sleeve makes the value/$ high

Great budget pen
Wonderful fountain pen. Nice weight, smooth writing, and a great budget pen. Comes with blue and blank ink cartridges along with a converter.

It's a neat pen for what it is
If your looking for a cool pen and not overly expensive it's pretty neat. Has a nice weight to it since a good amount of the pen is metal except the ink parts. I'll admit, I got this pen on a whim due to price and I'd been seeing videos of people drawing with fountain pens and I probably got the wrong style but it's fun none the less. I actually ended up using it for both drawing and everyday pen wether I'm home or at work. It glides well, I know when I got this I first looked at all the 1 stars and was just hoping I'd get a good one lol it does seem based on others review that sometimes there is small errors that totally mess them up but the one I got was great. It does put out quite a bit of ink sometimes like a thicker line but I wonder if that's because I'm heavy handed and maybe messed it up or the surfaces of the paper I'm using. (Doodling on the back of sticker wax paper at work lol) first time putting the ink in was scary tho lotta weight to push into it that I pressed it against my table to do it.

Great quality! Great price!
I really like this pen. It's heavy compared to my disposable pens. It's very sturdy. It has a very nice finish. Ink flows through it very smoothly and consistently. I have had no issues with spotting or leaking and the ink flows consistently until the pen runs dry. Once a new ink cartridge is inserted the ink flows again as if it never stopped. It takes some force to insert a new ink cartridge but once inserted they're very secure and easy to remove later when necessary. I will buy more Jinhao pens.

Nice weight, smooth performance.
I'm kind of new to fountain pens but I am really liking this one. Very smooth writing and has a very nice sort of heavier weight to it. As said, I'm new to this and am having to learn to hold it less firmly than I'm used to and also use my arm rather than my wrist to guide it. I've had it for a little while and can already see my penmanship improving.

These pens are absolutely fantastic! So much better than Platinum Preppy
I absolutely love these pens - I have EF, F, and M and I absoutely LOVE them all. When you factor in the fact that each one comes with both a converter and six ink cartridges, they are cheaper than Platinum Preppy and they work SOOO much better. I also like Pilot Kakuno and I'd say these are definitely on par in quality but again - with this Jinhao you get the converter included. And the Jinhao M is much more of a real medium than the Kakuno M - so if you want a broader nib in a "cheap" pen, this is the way to go. Buy these. You won't regret it.

It is my new favorite pen!
I love this pen! It has become my everyday carry and it was a fantastic entry point for fountain pens for me with the extra cartridges provided. I have had almost everyone in my life try it out to see how amazing it writes and how smooth the ink flows. The metal casing is fantastic and feels so nice in my hand while doing my daily pages.
