Received parcel quickly.PROS: Heats up very quick & the display & +/- temp settings are a good size & clear.CONS: The safety comb guard just falls off when put on the comb. Luckily I hadn’t touched my hair with the hot comb. There is no clip etc on the guard to secure it to the comb. Absolutely no instructions on how to use safely. Have requested to return it. 2 🌟’s given only because of the PROS.

I love this first of all it works well and it heats up quickly. I definitely recommend this.

I found this electric comb perfect for style in the wigs it's lightweight strong durable very easy to hold as a great ease of use and good settings does not take long to heat up and straight into the hair perfectly excellent quality and superb value for the money

The media could not be loaded.  This electric hot comb can be used on all hair types, but it's more effective on unruly textured frizzy and curly afro hair types, more so than european frizzy, curly, or wavy hair types.It depends on what temperature the hot comb is set at. I wanted to try this electric hot comb to compare it with the general modern-day straightners and the old-fashioned hot combs. Hands-down, it beats the old-fashioned hot comb, it's electric, and has temperature control settings and a protective comb casing, all that make it better in comparison...However, like others, I have also had issues with the protective comb casing dropping off it when it's being used. The plastic material isn't practical. It stays on fine at first, but once the hot comb reaches a high temperature, the plastic casing expands a bit, which is what causes it to drop off. It's disappointing as it would have been a great protective factor.It also falls short in comparison to the more popular general modern straighteners, they make my hair a little bit straighter than this hot comb and there's no risk of burning myself with them, unlike the hot comb without it's rubbish protective casing.Anyway... Overall, this is a good quality comb (minus the protective case) that's also good at straightening wigs. It's easy to use on my wigs, especially because of its temperature control and LED display screen, so I can see what temperature it's set at. I have it set on a very low temperature to ensure it doesn't burn my synthetic wigs.Another negative is that it takes about 4 minutes or so to reach its highest temperature of 230°. Once I choose the temperature to set it to, it then locs in the setting, and it flashes on and off on the LED display screen until it's at the set temperature, as you can see in the attached video to this review.

I ordered this Electric Hot Comb Hair Straightener for Afro Hair, I don’t have Afro hair but my curls are very fine. I have been using this product for two for Straightening as it has a Comb Ceramic Protable Pressing Comb with LCD Display Dual Voltage Temperature Adjustable (Gold). It is very easy to use practical and I take it everywhere I travel.

This hot comb is good.I use it to lay my wigs flatter and it does the job well.It's similar to the one I used before however the fact that it is displayed digitally and you are able to choose more than 4 temperature settings makes this a lot more enjoyable and convenient to use.I personally wouldn't use this to replace my hair straightener and don't recommend it to straighten your whole head of hair. I use it just for my roots that I can't get to. I've not used it on my natural hair because of the risk I could burn myself.Overall I do recommend it. It's nice and cheap and you just need to know how to use it for most effective results.

This comb takes me back 25 years. It is very similar to the hot comb my mom would put on the stove.It comes with a shield to help prevent scalding yourself.I wanted to give this a try as it is a bit more advanced with led display and heats up to 230 degrees like my straighteners. It does help to de frizz my hair and gives it a neat blowout look, but as far as straightening my ethnic hair the way i want it won't do the job unfortunately. I may use it from time to time but it will probably wont get much use.
