A very small amount will give you firm hold. I like the brand and think that this is a good value for the money. I use the Tea Tree shampoo and like the smell.

Bought 2 because a salon recommended. Having used it before, its great for hold without making your hair stiff.

Due to my first girlfriend, I have some self-esteem issues regarding how my hair looks. Before I used this, I never really thought my hair looked "nice." I now bring this gel with me wherever I go (I also have a 2.5 travel sized one). It only takes a small amount of gel to get my hair styled (I have about two inches of hair). My hair sticks really well where I style it, without looking like it has been drenched in product. The smell of the gel is really nice, and I think it helps me smell attractive (i'm a guy). One of my favorite features of the gel is that if for some reason you don't want your hair to look or feel gelled anymore, you can run your hands through it quickly a few times and it doesn't even feel like there's product in it anymore. The other side of this is it requires a certain level of vigilance about not touching your hair, but I assume most people who use gel do that anyways. Pros: Good smell Works Well all day bottle lasts a long time Can get hair feeling soft and natural in no time Cons: Hair can lose gel quickly if touched My hair pretty much always looks good with this in my hair, and I actually get compliments about it. I even had another man ask me what I used because he wanted his to look like mine. If you want a nice styled look, I recommend this product.

I purchased this hair gel based on the "maximum hold" description and customer reviews. The Tea Tree Firm Hair Gel is adequate for my needs. Unfortunately, the gel does not have the thick volume I was expecting. The gel is greasy and has an unpleasant odor. I am using this is as a back up to L'ANZA Meg Gel that is sometimes is difficult to order and the price continues to increase (substantially).

I’m African American and the hold is firm for my type 4b/4c natural hold. It’s smells like tea tree and is thick, which I believe to mean concentrated. I mixed this in my palms with a little water and then spread over my waves (male hair - short) and it makes them shine. I prefer gel over pomade or hair grease as it rinses cleanly. I’ve used this several times and I didn’t notice many flakes at all. I also noticed it seems to provide some moisture but you may require more. I would say it lasts at least 12 hours if you apply it correctly. It also holds up well in heat and humidity so your hair doesn’t go poof. I used Paul Mitchell Awapuhi shampoo and cream rinse in case you’re wondering.

Great product for hair control. Price is also competitive. I used Tea Tree for many years. I would highly recommend this product.

I have very thin hair, and most hair gels I’ve used end up pulling out half of it. With this gel, not a single hair fell out!

Ho comprato questo gel per mio padre come regalo una volta e da quel giorno se ne è innamorato! Aveva problemi di forfora e usando questo gel è completamente scomparsa. In più ha una tenuta a lunga durata. Delle due linee presenti lui preferisce il "firm hold gel" rispetto allo "styling gel", poichè ha una tenuta più forte. L'unico aspetto negativo è Il costo che è abbastamza elevato ma ne vale la pena! Consigliato!
