V200 Replacement Nibs

Asvine is a company that makes good fountain pens. It's difficult to make a fountain pen that doesn't look like somebody else's products, because in the over 100 years of fountain pen history, most "innovations" and "styles" have been copied several times over. Many products on the market today were "inspired by" someone else's earlier product...and some manufacturers go to extremes to pass off their knock-off products as the real thing: similarly spelled names/model numbers, similar packaging, etc. Asvine takes inspiration from other company's writing instruments, analyzes what they can do to make a somewhat similar looking product for less money, maybe even improves the original design, puts their own spin on it, and sells a good quality product for a fraction of the "Original"'s price. The mark-up for Western fountain pens is astronomical; "precious resin" is a marketing term for "plastic we're gonna charge you a lot of money for". Asvine pens are NOT intended to be cheap clones of Western or Japanese pens, but affordable alternative pens using features, methods, and resources which are ethically and legally available to anyone in the Global Economy. Asvine strikes a good balance between quality and cost for those of us who live on a budget, and their quality is improving. Look out, TWSBI, they're coming for you ;-)

This works great with my v200, nice to see that i can change tips at any time, this three set is perfect for my writing also worth the $. Flow is great so far, not too wet and very smooth. Great item!

These are the perfect replacement nibs that will fit any Asvine pen that uses a #6 size nib, and are easy to swap in for a needed nib replacement.

Good nibs, happy to have on hand. I do like the Bock fine nib in my Asvine V200 just a little better, so four stars.

I replaced the original medium nib with this fine nib. I don’t know what I was expecting other than a finer line. Usually the newer nib is scratchy but not in this case. The line is clearly narrower but the pen writes smooth. Not silky smooth but much better than expected and smoother than other pens with fine nibs. The nice thing is I still have my medium nib and a broad nib if I want to change again. I was a bit nervous about removing the older nib and getting the new one in. But with the help is a clean cloth to cover the nibs unscrewing and screwing of the nibs was easy. Just be sure that the replacement nib is very snug but don’t over do it either.

Nibs are great and easy to switch even when pen is inked. I was given a medium but was able to switch it with the fine replacement. Super smooth

These new units are hard to beat for the price. I initially purchased them hoping they would fit Bock to housings, but the thread is different. I was able to use the nibs and feeds in other pens and they perform flawlessly.

Vor längerer Zeit hatte ich mir einen Asvine P36 Kolbenfüllhalter mit einer Bock-Feder (mittlere Spitze) gekauft. Diese erwies sich auch nach längerer Benutzung als zu trocken für meine Zwecke. Die Tinte war immer recht blass auf dem Papier, was mich unterbewusst dazu veranlasste, mehr Druck auszuüben. Deshalb empfand ich das Schreiben damit als ziemlich ermüdend. Aus diesem Grund bestellte ich mir die entsprechenden Asvine-Federn. Sie sind weicher, feuchter und vor allem bei längerem Schreiben viel angenehmer. Besonders überrascht hat mich die extra feine Feder. Auch sie ist kein bisschen scharf oder kratzig, sondern schreibt fast so weich und leicht wie die mittlere. Die Tintenleiter passen perfekt und sind mit Silikon O-Ringen ausgestattet, um wirklich dicht mit dem Füllhalter abzuschließen. Man sollte aber auf jeden Fall auf die Kompatibilität mit seinem Schreibgerät achten, denn die Tintenleiter für verschiedene Asvine-Modelle können recht unterschiedlich konstruiert sein.

Great nibs, very affordable and so easy to change out in the pen. I’ve purchased two different sets!

Very good nibs for the price, easy to swap. I use these for an Asvine V200 with Pilot Iroshizuku Black ink and am pleased with the combination. With the V200 I find that fine is the right nib. Very fine also performs well but flow is not quite enough for medium.
