A mum making ready to prepare children for her death
Really interesting book from a mum who has had more than her share of misery. I think she was honest, but perhaps 🤔 she could have been more realistic about Katie Price. I dread to think what will happen to Kate especially when her mum goes. I guess one other or all of the rest of her family will look after her. It’s Kates children I worry about as they will have lost a grandma who has been a responsible caring person all their lives. Luckily the children’s dads are their influencers and Harvey will have Kate. Be interesting to see how all the family fare when they lose their RUDDER. Nice read AMY xxx

iv always liked amy
Amy as always come across to me as what you see is what you get and this book proves that theory ..She by no means blows smoke up kates bum but also gives the reader a insight as to what has truly contributed to some of Kate’s choices and her mental health and the impact it’s had on the family I feel for them …I do sympathise with Kate it’s not easy at all having a disabled child until you love it you can only assume I know this first hand and I’m glad she has a strong mother like Amy she needs that ..I just hope she and the whole family get a break as I do think over the years they’ve had a lot of negativity unfairly many times too ..The way they all care for Harvey is amazingAnd I wish them all the best.. was a good read written by a very very strong down to earth lady

Would like to have heard more about Amy's life
Reading about Amy's own history & experiences was really interesting, as well as understanding more about her medical diagnosis & life in general. I was hoping the book was going to give a different perspective on Katie Price & a better understanding of her & her life, but it didn't really do that. It made me feel very sorry for Amy's other children & husband who have had to play second fiddle so that Amy could provide almost constant support to Katie, even now when her mum is terminally ill Katie is still bringing drama to her door when Amy needs peace, support & care. The abuse Katie was expossd to as a child was appalling & no wonder she has many problems resulting from this. But either Katie has lots of undiagnosed mental health conditions & learning disabilities that don't allow her to see how her behaviour effects everyone around her, the ability to empathise with those around her & to take accountability for her life, or she is actually exactly the same type of person as all the people Amy says are a negative influence on her who she chooses as partners & friends. It is so sad that her mother blindly defends her by placing the blame on her ex's, friends & managers, but in reality there is one common denominator & that is Katie. Amy also contradicts herself on several occasions by blasting beahaviours in Katie's ex's that she previously stated that Katie herself did but later changes the record. I hope Katie gets the therapy she needs to come to terms with how her life has panned out, to take accountability for her own choices & to step back from the limelight & men so she can concentrate on herself & her children that are the unfortunate victims in all of this. And I sincerely hope Amy's transplant is successful & she goes on to write more about her own experiences & very interesting life, but without reference to KP.

Honest and uplifting
If I'm honest, I was sceptical before reading Amy's book. I know I should not make assumptions and this book has made me reflect on this in particular. I really enjoyed reading Amy's story and love the clear, no holds bar approach. Tough issues are discussed and this book encourages you to consider a different perspective and think about a number of things including what's really important. I found this very engaging to read and I love the honest writing style which can be hard to get nowadays! I was so happy with the ending too. Thank you for sharing this. Xx

Enjoyable easy read. Great for a novice!
I find it fascinating the reviews being hurried out on here on the day the book came out. If you are writing a negative review you must have firstly ordered the book on its release day, sat and read it in one day and then got onto Amazon to spew your envy.Personally I really enjoyed learning about Amy's take on everything and finding out about her life, outside of the media circus. I think her vocabulary was rich and story telling had me captivated. What Katie has managed to achieve against all odds is amazing. No other woman in the public eye has pulled off what she has, kept a profile and people engaged for as long as she has. For all her faults she lives her life bearing all, the good and the bad and I commend that bravery. Who hasn't experienced most of the stuff she has, yet they live anonymously or at least filter the best bits for social media. My final word is Katie must be doing something right to have all the haters still talking, and who are really fans let's be honest!

Wonderful Woman, Wonderful Book
I’ve always admired Amy as she’s a true, loving, straight talking mum. This book is a real page turner as it details her daughter’s life so honestly. I’ve always liked Kate and have often seen her about as she lives close by. Kate has been in the news so much over the last 30 years, it was fascinating to read the truth behind the headlines. As the parent of two disabled children I’ve loved how the family have supported Harvey and tried to highlight issues. Good luck with your new lease of life - you deserve it, Mrs P!

What a story !
What a book ! This really puts a different light on nKatie's situation. The press doing their best to portray the exes as the victims and Katie as the villain. They earn a fortune from advertisement when bullying and making up stories about Katie. The press have pushed her to the brink. W e know Katie is no angel but can now understand what she has been put through. I'm going to ahve to read the book a 2nd time to take it all in.I'm so happy for Amy she got the 2nd chance with the lung transplant. She is a wonderful person. She doesn't dish the dirt just tells the situations as they are.
