My wife and I are use these wooden bowls and tray to ser the mood for movie night at our house. Chips, dips, sushi, breads or cheeses, you name it we’ve served it.Make for a cozy get together with the family.The bowls and tray have a nice finish and we like the quality.

When we entertain, we like to put out a variety of snacks and appetizers before the main meal. This Acacia tray and serving bowls set will contain these goodies nicely and present in an attractive fashion.The tray measures 13" across and can be used underneath the bowls for a pretty appearance, or it can be used separately for holding crackers, toasts, cookies or cheese. The 4" in diameter bowls (3 of them) can hold a variety of items. We plan to use them mostly for nuts, but they can also contain candy, dips and condiments. Place the bowls at your bar area and fill them with olives, cherries or wedges and slices of lemons or limes.The bowls and tray appear to be hand crafted. They certainly are not flawlessly made, as you can see swirl marks left by the sander on each item. Though, the set has a rustic look to it anyway, so this does not bother me at all. This attractive serving set would fit in well in any style home; contemporary, farmhouse, Mid-century modern, minimalistic or craftsman style. They are natural looking and beautiful. These pieces are decorative as well as useful. As far as cleaning, do not place the wooden pieces in the dishwasher. Handwash with water and a mild soap.The Acacia tray and bowl set would make a great addition to your party serving accessories.

I'm sure that you could have uses for these bowls, I thought they would be larger than they turned out to be so they didn't really work for what I ordered them for. However, they do look very nice as a centerpiece on a coffee table. Whether you use the dishes for dips, small candies, or potpourri, you really can't go wrong.

I ordered this set to use for entertaining. I filled each bowl with different nuts and placed cheese and crackers on the tray. I got several complements from my friends. All of the wood is smooth, but not slick. There are no splinter-y parts and each of the bowls are consistent in size. I really like the way they can sit on the tray for storage. However, I will not be putting them away, for now. I am displaying them on my island with the bowls sitting on the tray. I use them almost every other day. Seems like I always need a little bowls for sorting items, holding those little things, (paperclips, random screw, or whatnot) before I get them put where they belong. I would not put anything wet in them. But they do wipe out very easily. They are heavy enough to not tip over easy, and they hold a nice portion of snacks (about a cup). I recommend this set. It would make a lovely gift, but you'll need a nicer box than what it was shipped in.

I love the special glow of acacia wood. These are simple, old style serving dishes that remind me of the Monkeypods my grandma had. Great for dry or slightly moist snacks. Interestingly, the 3 bowls are all different depths. They're sturdy, lovely and clean up well.
