...this is not the designer you want. This is the second piece I've gotten from Olivia Welles and they don't do subtle. They do big, up front & present, attention-getting costume jewelry and they do it without apology for their boldness.I do have to take one star off this particular necklace because one of the pieces was attached backwards. It doesn't ruin the necklace, which is detailed enough to handle a little asymmetry, but it is something I need to mention.

We got this for a Mother's Day gift because she likes chunky, bulky jewelry like this. It is very pretty and definitely catches the eye. We haven't given it to our mother yet but I think she will really like it. Appears to be good quality for the price.

This necklace is very pretty, but has a couple of drawbacks. One being that it seems to flip up while I’m wearing it so the back side is showing instead of the gem. The other being that it makes me feel a bit itchy when I wear it. That might mean that it has nickel in it as I’m allergic to nickel, however, I haven’t noticed a rash or any soreness or anything once I take it off. I just make sure not to wear it for too long, so it doesn’t cause any potential skin problems. Over all, it’s pretty and feels durable. Just be careful if you have sensitive skin.

This is well made and should last a long time. However, it’s heavy and it’s hard to forget you have it on. With the right top, this necklace would be striking.

The lopsided glass gems really bug me, and I’m not sure what it’s supposed to be worn with so it doesn’t look silly.I love the colors, but the two big gems seem totally out of place, and I’d be a bit embarrassed if I wore this out anywhere. It wasn’t so weirdly obvious from the product pictures, but in person it irks me.Maybe there’s some asymmetrical clothing style this is supposed to be worn with that I don’t know about, in which case it should come with pertinent fashion tips maybe.

I like its design and bulky looking.But each element looks cheap including the stones and the gloden base. You can tell it's fake immediately.Their clinking sounds cheap light plastic.But again I like design and I'll be happy to wear this on casual occasions to add a little bit special feeling.

This Olivia Welles costume jewelry is chunky and fun! It is large and overstated. Bold and colorful. The stones are a combination of blue, yellow, green and clear. It catches the eye and definitely makes a statement. It is meant to not be taken seriously, because there are no precious jewels that match these. So just have fun with it. Wear it with jeans and a tank, or with a nice blouse under a suit jacket. Overall, it is fun piece of costume jewelry. I recommend it. 4 stars

This necklace reads cute in the photos but upon receipt it looks and feels cheap. Not really sure what I was expecting, I knew it would be gaudy, but I was expecting something luxurious. It's just a regular costume necklace with standard beads and hardware.
