The best organic hair clay out there! I’ve been using regular clay for quite some time until I developed a spotty rash on my forehead because of all the chemicals it contains. I can say I’m really glad I found this product! My rash has now disappeared and my hair is thanking me for all the natural ingredients. The product is very easy to apply, texture is great and it holds well (even in this heat!). Love the fresh smell as well. Eco-friendly, on-the-go packaging which I really like too.

Great product. I’ve been trying to find a hair clay that my scalp doesn’t react to and so far this seems to fit the bill. The clay itself is black but don’t let that put you off, it will lose colour as you rub it between your fingers. It’s also a little solid so need some coaxing out of the container but you don’t need too much so no big deal. In terms of hold, it’s not extra hold hair gel, it mostly feels like it helps to tame your hair and nudge it to where you want it - I have straight, fine hair and haven’t used loads so others may have a different experience depending on how much they use. All in I really like this product, the tin isn’t huge but it’s solid and being rectangular it stands out - simple but functional

I was a little put off at first because of the black look of it, but it does not stain my hair or clothes or anything so that’s cool. It suggests using it in damp hair and that’s what I do. Very easy to use, start with a small amount because a little goes a long way and I used too much once and it made my hair feel a bit heavy. When I use the right amount, it gives a good textured look and provides a good base for me if I want to use other products. If you use more of the product, the hold will be better, but I find it gives me a nice mild hold that keeps my basic style while allowing movement and for me to run my hands through my hair without it feeling sticky or oily. The effect of the clay seems to last till I wash it out, the longest being 3 days, during which time my hair kept its textured look and was easy to move about if it I wanted to. I have short hair (a few inches at most) and it’s perfect if you want a gentler, more natural hold. Like I say, the hold gets stronger the more you use, but I didn’t like how it made my hair feel, so I don’t use that much. I do have to say that while my hair felt heavy when I used too much, it didn’t look bad. It kept its matte look and didn’t appear oily or greasy in any way. It’s expensive, yes, but you don’t need that much for a basic look, so I think it going to last me at least a good few months. I find the smell reminds me a little bit of a mild liquorice, but I don’t know if that’s a common thing, and it doesn’t last long once you’ve used it. In terms of washability, it washes out easily from my hair and my hands after use. I sometimes feel a thin film after using it but it’s so minor that I sometimes just leave it be and it absorbs and vanishes fairly quickly. If you don’t like that, I’ve found it’s easy to rinse off with just water so if you used soap, it would be a breeze. In terms of natural clays it’s one of the best I’ve tried, easy to apply, good hold, matte look and nice enough smell.

Prior to using, I had used mainstream for years and struggled with itchy scalp, nothing worked. I started using this for it's natural ingredients, it's fantastic! It sticks, it's not got the harmful chemicals and washes out easy when you want it to. I love the smell and texture. It says use in wet hair but I use it fine on dry.

Absolutely fantastic product, I couldn’t be happier with it. It does exactly what I want, feels premium, and has quickly become part of my routine. The quality is obvious from its first use, and it has consistently delivered great results for my hair. 10/10.

I recently bought this hair wax and I’m really disappointed with it.

Bought this wax in the summer, as wanted a more natural and less damaging product to use on my eyebrows, and guys hair always stays in place! It works really well and smells amazing, it also works nicely to keep hair slicked back when in a pony tail, with out looking greasy. Also love the easy packaging it comes in as can take it out for the day or night out with me, as is super light weight! Highly recommend!

Never used a hair clay before but this stuff is fantastic. I have fine hair but this doesn’t leave it feeling greasy at the end of the day. Matte finish with a light enough hold that I can still adjust later in the day. I was originally thrown off by the black color but even against my very blonde hair it blends right in.
