Not the best flavor but good sources of protein

This protein shot is very helpful for bariatric patients trying to get a lot of protein in a small package but it’s crazy sweet tasting. Like imagine just drinking orange flavored torani syrup. However, now that I’m about 4 months out this makes a good addition to a larger drink. I have a concoction using one of these, a protein20 water, genepro unflavored protein, and some water to lighten the taste and that’s 240 calories 51 grams of protein. It takes all day to drink and maybe defeats the purpose of shots but it definitely helps add to the protein count.

I have a hard time getting protein in my daily diet but these shots taste great and go down easy. I highly recommend.

Be careful with this product if you were older person with elements, I use this product to help control my blood sugar, it does slow down the absorption of carbohydrates into the bloodstream, but it’s an older person it showed up as a negative on my kidney function test. Be very careful and talk with your doctor to see if this is a product you can use if you want all the person with diabetes or high blood pressure or any other serious illnesses. To avoid complications talk with your doctor. Definitely not for long-term use.
