Works well with Epson XP-312 printer
I use my old creaky Epson XP-312 mostly for projects, postage labels etc, and black is used the most. This pack is good as there are two each of the three colours and four black cartridges. My printer does the usual crying out in agony that I'm not using original Epson cartridges, but then prints as normal. I did have to do a couple of head cleaning cycles, but that's within the normal range when using compatible ink and changing more than one cartridge at the same time, and/or for an old machine. Works well for what I want, and at a decent price for the double set of inks.

doesnt work
simply did not work with my printer, and I let the return window run out before I tried them, a write off! Never had any problem before with aftermarket ink.

These aren’t genuine product BUT work!
These are a cheaper alternative to genuine ink cartridges, they worked just as good from what I can tell was as easy to install as genuine too.

Printing delight
These arrived safe due to being very well packed, each cartridge was individually sealed for easy storing. I was able to fit the cartridge I needed quickly, which was accepted by the printer, and the printout that followed was very good quality.

Great for day-to-day printing at reasonable cost
With a partner needing a significant of printing due to a mixture of study, home working and volunteering and with a cost of living crisis causing a squeeze on budgets it’s safe to say that looking for household economies includes using reasonably priced non-OEM ink for our (by now) fairly old but reliably functional Epson™ printer. I’d tend only to use OEM ink when top quality is absolutely essential – things like printing photographs for instance. For anything else non-OEM will do just fine. Offered for review under the Amazon Vine programme, this set of 10 ink cartridges manufactured by Coloran™ fit the bill nicely. The set includes four Black, and two each of Cyan, Magenta and Yellow. The estimated page yield is pretty standard at 470 pages per black cartridge and 450 pages per colour cartridge assuming 5% coverage of a sheet of A4.The cartridges arrived solidly packed in a slim cardboard box which is great for storage and offers no chance of movement for the cartridges within; and which will simply recycle in the household kerbside collection, something I’m very keen on as a committee recycler. All the cartridges are individually wrapped in LDPE plastic, which although I’m not keen on is completely understandable given that not doing so would lead the cartridges to dry out, rendering them useless. As is fairly standard the ink nozzle is covered in thin plastic which must be peeled off before installation. Like most non-OEM cartridges the printer gives the usual warning that these aren’t original and asks if you wish to continue. This is typical for non-OEM cartridges and entirely expected, and this isn’t the only make of printer that adds an unnecessary complication to the installation process to frustrate the user – and potentially send them out to buy expensive OEM cartridges hoping they’ll give up with the non-OEM versions. The box contains the following symbols:• EU CE mark showing conformity with many standards such as the Low Voltage Directive, the Energy Related Products Directive and the Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive amongst others.• The new post-Brexit UK Conformity Assessed (UKCA) marking• The standard recycle mark, although I assume this relates to the packaging• The crossed out, underlined wheelie bin symbol, for EEE products - Electrical and electronic equipment covered by the WEEE Regulations, indicating that this product should be disposed of correctly at a recycling site and not put in the normal household waste when at the end of its lifeWhilst not at the levels of brightness and sheer intensity of colours you would expect from expensive OEM inks these are perfectly acceptable for the sort of everyday printing that goes on in our home, and whilst the colours may not quite as vibrant they are clear and well-rendered, not smudged, faint or lined – a symptom of print head blocking which can occur not only due to failure to clean the print heads but also a sign of low quality ink. No such issues here. The price of these Coloran cartridges is pretty good, and with plenty of printing going on in my house I think £1.92 each represents very reasonable value. Whilst my household are using this for a home printer they would also save money in a small office environment too, which is an economy worth making in tough trading conditions, as well as for those unexpectedly having to use a home set up for much greater than standard domestic needs as working from home at least for part of the week seems to be the new norm.
