I am quite happy with this purchase and the performance of this Faber product. This is the third product we have purchased from Faber, and our experience has been positive. The product quality and service standards have met our expectations.However, during the first month of use, there was a noise issue from the chimney. We raised a service request, and a technician visited promptly and carried out the necessary repairs. Since then, the product has been functioning well. Regret Buying Faber – Faulty Product, Fake Promises, Horrible Support!
I’ve been using this Faber chimney for over a year now, and I can confidently say it’s one of the worst purchases I’ve ever made. Here's a breakdown of my experience:1. Poor Touch Panel & Sensor Functionality:The touch panel is highly unreliable. The suction power keeps changing on its own, without any manual input. This isn't just an occasional glitch—it happens frequently and disrupts the cooking experience. The sensor is just as bad, making the smart functionality completely useless.2. Faulty Components Repeatedly:Within just two months of replacing the chip and sensor (after repeated complaints), the same issue started happening all over again. It’s clear that either the parts are of substandard quality or the design is inherently flawed.3. Autoclean Feature is a Gimmick:Oil starts accumulating at the corners and edges of the chimney, but NOT in the designated hanging oil collector. This defeats the entire purpose of an "auto-clean" chimney. Cleaning becomes manual and tedious, exactly what this product claims to eliminate.4. Horrible After-Sales Service in Kolkata (via Prime Care):If you’re from Kolkata, beware. The service provider, Prime Care, is a nightmare to deal with. Delayed responses, frequent rescheduling, and they often just don’t pick up the phone. Getting any help or service is a long and frustrating ordeal.Bottom Line:Faber is a terrible company, and this product is even worse than the brand behind it. There are many good brands out there—do yourself a favor and avoid this one completely. Think 10 times (or more) before buying any Faber product. It looks good on paper, but the real-world performance is an absolute disaster.
