Power cord comes with plenty of length; should be no problem to hide or route the cord in any fashion you want. Mount is real good, able to mount upside down, flip around and turn it rightside up. Easy setup. Works like a champ. Just wish you could change colors.

Changed tires size, speed was way off, this guy fixed with minimal cost. A bonus is the compas and altimeter. Went to boulder Beach nevada with officia altimeter reading and this was off by one foot. Great product. Takes about 30 seconds to find satellites in the morning, holds that all day. Recommend

You'll have to play around with the Vehicle Speed Settings to Adjust. Why? Not Sure. 2-3 times... I've got it SPOT ON. The other Functions are Near Perfect. I use the Compass and Elevation Features. PERFECT. Takes about 3 minutes to find the Satellites (14-19 in my case.) Attractive. Mounts Well on slightly irregular planes. Tilts Back and Forth and Adjusts Horizon Plane to square up the Positioning. Tight and Easy. No FAULTS yet at all. The Instructions are "unintuitive"... you've got to play around with it on set-up. I'd buy again. J

This is a complex instrument. When the infotainment system in our RV suddenly started dying, we lost SirusXM, clock time, navigation and travel direction. We didn't use the satellite radio or nav options but we did like the compass heading and time information which used to show up on the RV's main display. The radio still works on it, but nothing else at this point and there is no available replacement. I purchased this device and recommend but it won't be satisfactory for everyone. Mounting this can be a problem because of several things. It's fairly large and the hinge in back doesn't allow a lot of positioning because of the micro-USB connection in the back of it. The supplied micro-USB cable can keep it from mounting fully vertically. I therefore purchased a 90-degree cable and that helped a bit. The adhesive on the mount has held well onto the had plastic bezel of the dash. You might experience problems with getting to adhere elsewhere. The unit slides along its hinged section but be careful not to totally unscrew the knob in back. Getting it back on after mounting it can be a challenge. The user interface for this device is NOT intuitive, so keep the instructions handy. When plugged in, the device will brighten for several seconds and then can be very difficult to read in daylight until you set the brightness option, which can be difficult when its default is dim. There are 3 buttons on it and their functions are illogically labelled on the back of the device, which makes them unreadable once mounted! I had to remove the device from the sliding mount to see them and then I had trouble getting it back together again. The center button is the settings/options button. When held for a few seconds, it will go into settings mode, initially displaying a 1 for the first of 10 settings. Hitting the settings button briefly will advance it to 2, 3, and up to the 10 different settings. The brightness setting is 6 and the left and right buttons can be used to change the brightness from 1-11. I chose 11. The device is not factory calibrated for speed. The initial speed setting says 107 and the device was incorrectly displaying 75 MPH when the speedometer and Garmin were reporting 70 MPH. Reducing the 107 to 101 fixed that. By playing with the various display options you can display various combinations of the system time, direction (via letters or degrees), speed, and altitude. It even can warn you of driving too long without taking a break! Overall, this is a versatile but complex instrument that some people will have trouble mounting and using. I suspect that some will love it, some will hate it. Don't lose the instructions and don't give up on it right away. One star off for mounting issues, complexity and lack of factory calibration.

This device works good as described, is very easy to install and as far as I can see it shows the speed correctly.

After dialing in the speed display, everything works perfectly. The display is very bright and looks great beside my radar detector. It took a little time to adjust to the location of the speedo, but now I naturallylook at it instead of my dash. I also like the versatility of what can be displayed Cool unit! I have one in each of my cars now. Do not hesitate to purchase this unit.
