This Standing Aid works great! I took my elderly husband to physical therapy and showed the Therapist this device. They said it was a wonderful tool. We used it and it really works. Make sure the standing person is not too close and the seated person bends at the waist and has to reach for the handle. Very easy to get them up.

This item works as described. For us It has helped my wife get out of bed, up from the couch and out of the car. I think it would also be good if there was a fall involved and you had to get somebody off of the floor. It also avoids bruising on the back of her hands by grabbing too tightly to help her up.

I would suggest trying this device out prior to any emergency situation. As a trial, I had my daughter pull me up from a sitting position. I am much larger than her but she lifted me up so quickly I almost knocked her over. You need to practice distance and force. It did work well. The equipment is sturdy and it came quickly. There are really no safety instructions included. There is a QR code on the insert but it only directs you back to the Amazon info. They need to work on that, otherwise it’s a good device for many.

Great device for lifting someone that is above your weight. Portable enough to hang on a hook (centrally located) to be redidly available

This really works well. I wish I had bought it ages ago.

The item is somewhat awkward. You’re too close to the recipient. It throws off your balance. If the person alters their stance you can loose your balance and fall over.

Hoping this helps. I fell a week ago and struggled to get on my feet. This just may be the answer.
