Fits and Works
cable and assembly are of good quality and it works. Easier to buy ready made than all the parts to make one.

Misleading image, unfinished product
The picture shows a gold-plated connector; however, this is not a gold plated connector; it's ordinary nickel. Additionally, it was behaving in a bit of a dodgy manner, so I unscrewed the 3.5mm connector side and found that the shield braid wasn't even soldered. It was just crimped to the 3.5mm connector, which made for a tenuous connection, not something that's okay for an RF connector. Ten seconds of work with a soldering iron and I corrected the deficiency, but I shouldn't have to finish the production on an off-the-shelf product myself to make it work reliably. Once finished, it works fine for connecting a small shortwave receiver to an antenna with a BNC cable, and not being gold plated doesn't particularly hurt the efficacy of it, other than it does cause a little static when moved around.

The wire is hard like a cable
I have never bought an audio cable that resembles a cable like you lock up your bicycle with, but here we are, and I am grateful that this was so affordable. I don't see signs of trouble in it's design. Hopefully this will hold up for a long time.

Lousy 3.5mm plug
The BNC connector is good, the soldering is good, but the center pin of the 3.5mm plug is loose, can rotate freely, and makes only intermittent connection to its solder tab
