I've been buying ribbed tanks from Old Navy for years. They're perfect for summer and layering. The rib knit is very stretchy and comfortable. I'm 5'9" with a long torso, and appreciate that the Tall length has plenty of length to tuck in without worrying about it coming untucked. I decided to get this tank from Gap to see if it is any better quality than the Old Navy ones. It turns out that the fabric content, texture, and finishings are all the same between the two tanks. The only notable difference is that the back of the Gap tank is cut quite a bit higher, and the arm holes are cut just a tiny bit lower. (The Old Navy tank in the photos is lighter because I've had it since 2017.) The Gap tank curves in slightly along the waist, whereas the Old Navy tank is cut straight down. If you're wearing these fitted, it doesn't really make a difference because of the stretch. Unless you have a strong preference about the back neckline, go with whichever one has a better price, because they're largely the same.

I'm not used to wearing clothing that hugs my body, but this is very flattering. The material is nice and the ribbing makes it look a little more expensive than it actually is. The color is darker than pictured, midnight blue. You can tuck it in or wear it bunched up or out. I paired this with blue and white striped swimsuit coverup shorts. Soft and comfy.

I would love this tank, but it is really a magnet for dog hair.

I had purchased the exact same tank top from the Gap store years ago. I am hoping it is of the same quality (appears to be). Saw that it was on sale so I purchased it for around $5. The first one lasted a long time and has started to fade now after years of wear and washings. Just a regular standard tank top, nothing fancy. Would recommend for the price I purchased it for. I love tank tops in the summer and this serves my purpose perfectly.
