Trapezoid that wont go away. Stay far away.
Pretty bad image adjustment. Works ok on a vertical wall but once you try to put it on a ceiling then it shows a very ugly trapezoid. The auto adjustment does not work and nor does the 4 or 9 point. Extremely annoying. I wish I could have returned this but unfortunately the 30 days has passed and now i am stuck with this useless projector. Ev3n on a vertical wall sometimes the trapezoid shows up and is very difficult to get rid of. STAY FAR FAR AWAY FROM THIS USELESS PIECE.

Overall a great experience.
Item has a great picture quality. We love that we can move it from room to room with no setup up needed. Highly recommend. Not having Netlflix is a bummer but overall great image and quality.

Set Up Needs Work, otherwise Good
I really wanted to give this projector four stars. However, the set-up user interface is so bad, it lost a star. Set up is important since every time you move the projector (from inside to outside or room to room), it needs to be set up for the different distance/position from the screen. Other than a Quick Setup Guide (with only line drawing and no words) there is no documentation, not even on the LG website. The remote has dedicated buttons for setup functions like auto focus and squaring the screen image. However, once you press the button, there is no help on how to make the adjustment. Do you press up/down, right/left, roll the center wheel, or press the wheel… Think about it; they have a 120” image with more than enough room to show what to push to make the adjustment. The focus features do not provide any feedback that something is happening. How about an on-screen blinking light that shows adjustments being made and when completed. I get that you can see the focus as it changes, but if the focus is static it is unclear if (1) the process has not started or (2) it is the best focus the projector can achieve. The auto focus works well once started, but I had difficulty getting it to start. I tried all sorts of different button combinations. No auto focus. By happenstance, I picked up the projector to move some wires. When I put is back down, auto focus worked. I would give the video four stars, keeping in mind that this is not a high-end projector. Images are crisp with no problems in scenes with rapid motion. It has OK audio, but you will probably want something better such as a powered sound bar. It comes with an HDMI input with ARC (audio return channel). Colors for daytime viewing in a bright room are washed out. However, in a dim room, colors are good. I tried it in a room with medium dark paint and still got good color on the wall. Of course, the less light in the room, the better the picture.

Overall not worth in my opinion. Wish I could refund.
Pros: The image is beautiful and setup was super easy. The adjustability range of the projecting head is good. Cons: The audio doesn't automatically reconnect to the same Bluetooth speakers every time it's turned on so you have to manually connect every...single...time. The connection to said Bluetooth speakers fails frequently. I have to restart the projector to get it to connect to the speaker again and it happens infrequently. Sometimes I can watch for hours with no disconnect, sometimes it disconnects within 10 minutes of starting. It doesn't have all of the streaming apps on it. It has Hulu, Disney+, YouTube, and Prime Video. No Netflix, Paramount+, or HBO. It's pretty big and a little on the heavier side. Overall, I wouldn't recommend. I had a 1080p $200 projector that had all the streaming apps, could connect to my phone easily, maintained Bluetooth connection to the speakers I use, and was a smaller and lighter form factor. Unfortunately I waited too long to return this one, hoping an update would fix the problems so I can't get my money back.

Bright projector with 4k resolution. Struggles with focus, No Netflix, Hulu or Paramount+
This spotlight style projector is an Ultra High Definition (UHD) 4K (3,840 x 2,160) projector with great colors. It utilizes an LED for a light source and a DLP for image clarity. The image is extremely bright and the colors are very vibrant, with 1000 Ansi lumens. It's designed for home theater and gaming, but is bright enough to use for business presentations. It compares very favorably to the Samsung Freestyle projector - the Freestyle is half the price, but it's also 1/4 as bright (234 lumens vs 1000 lumens) and 1080p vs 4K. The LED light source provides an estimated 30,000 hours of use. Far above and beyond a normal bulb. It has a very sturdy build and decent performance. In my testing, it did NOT like focusing on a textured wall, and struggled to get the focus just right. Fortunately that's easy to fix, with a manual tweak of the focus from within the settings menu. The spotlight style body is quite easy to adjust, and you can point it at nearly any angle. Unfortunately it can't be mounted, it need to sit on a flat surface. That limits its appeal a little bit. It has an interesting mood lighting, (see the pics) you can change to one of several colors. It's a neat effect, but I found it a bit distracting in a dark room. Setup is fairly straightforward - run through a few setup screens, put it on WiFi and then log into your favorite apps. This is where things start to fall down a little bit. The unit comes with the LG WebOS2 built in, and it's pretty well featured, but misses a number of apps. I spend most of my streaming time inside Paramount+, Hulu and Netflix. Unfortunately for me, it doesn't have apps for any of these three. The sound from the projector is decent, but not great. It's certainly usable, but you'll mill the more full sound from an external bluetooth speaker. The remote is gently backlit, but the weird mouse like feature is a bit difficult to use. It works ok, but it's quite finicky. Overall I really like it - but you'll have to add a Firestick or Roku to take full advantage of the gorgeous display. But that's really an insignificant cost addition compared to the price of the projector. Recommended.

Wifi wouldn’t connect. Software is glitchy.
Low quality software messed the product up badly, I have 4 projectors.

The best projector I've ever used!
This is an amazing projector. The picture is bright and very sharp. I've only ever used 1080p projectors before, and the difference in quality between 1080p and 4K UHD on a 100 inch screen is very obvious. The projector is very quiet compared to others I've used. I have it set up on a stand right behind my head and while you can hear the fan, it's not distracting. It's the quietest projector I've ever used. The projector has a built in speaker that sounds decent, although it also supports eARC to make it easy to use with a soundbar. The remote has a cool feature that allows you to use it like a virtual mouse by waving it around. It takes a little while to get used to, but once you do, it's so much faster than using the directional pad. Of course, you can always continue to use the d-pad if you don't like the mouse. One cool feature is auto focus and auto keystone correction. The auto focus works very well, but I've found the keystone correction doesn't work that well in my setting. Fortunately, you can manually set each of the four corners, and even set it to adjust as many as 16 points. The projector runs WebOS and has a user interface similar to most other smart TV products. There are several apps preinstalled (YouTube, AppleTV+, Disney+, Amazon Prime Video, etc.) and there is an app store so you can install even more. There's also a built-in web browser and media player, so you can play content from other sources. Network connectivity is through Wi-Fi (both 2.4 and 5 Ghz). Unfortunately, there's no wired ethernet support. There's a single HDMI input, but also a USB type-C connector that is supposed to support DisplayPort, but I haven't tested that. There are a couple of things I don't like about it: - The swivel only moves up, so you have to position it exactly lined up with the center of your screen or a little below it. In my case, I have it behind a couch, so having it up higher and being able to point it down a little would help. - Most other projectors I've used have a threaded hole that allows you to use it with a tripod or projector stand, but for some reason, this projector does not. I had to purchase a tray for my projector stand in order to use it. - There's an external power brick that's quite large. I would have preferred to have the power supply integrated even if it made the projector slightly larger. Even with those few negatives, I still think that this is an amazing projector.
