LAURA GELLER Kajal Longwear Mascara – Black – Lengthen & Define

I've tried a lot of different mascaras over the years, and have been most loyal to Lash Perfection. Lately though, it's been goopy and clumpier than usual and seems to dry out quickly. I was searching for another brand when I saw this one on sale, and they had it in Brown, which I really need, being a strawberry-blonde. When I first saw the brush, I really wondered if it would work for me, since it was very narrow with very short bristles. But surprisingly, it didn't clump up on my sparse lashes; instead, it gave them a nice length with very little clumping. Also, it didn't flake or smear, and lasted most of the day, plus it didn't make my eyes itch or tear up. It also washed off easily with water and a cosmetic wipe. All-in-all, other than it being fairly pricey, it's the best mascara for me right now. I just hope they don't change the formula!

I had been using the same mascara for years. It seemed like it wasn’t lasting as long. So I took a shot on trying a new brand. I have been so pleased with my purchase. This mascara makes my lashes look long. It has a smooth application. I like that the brush is thin. And it’s washes off very easily and does not break my lashes. I love it, maybe you will too!

The box wasnt taped on oneside so a little suspicious. but thats THE only complaint. Cause it straight up applies just as it says it would. My mom has very sparse lashes and with a few strokes it did everything you would hope a mascara does. Then she used it on me and i can describe how it feels. it adds a little weight, but nowhere near some thick mascaras ive had in the past. certainly not clumpy and very little fallout from the fibers if at all. for a mascara as effective as this, it feels natural. we'rr both very satisfied!

I decided to try Laura Geller black mascara because the older I get the more I find I'm allergic to some eye makeup. This mascara does exactly what I need, lift and separate my lashes, no clumps, just goes on smooth. I gave it 4 stars because I haven't used it enough to say it's excellent. But, so far, so good.

I have been trying many mascaras recently and this may be my favorite. Love how it goes on and lengthens my lashes. No clumping yet. Really like the skinny brush for better control. Stays on until I remove it with a cream remover. This may finally be the brand I stick with.

I’ve used this mascara for 3 weeks now and I’m not a fan. It clumps every time and leaves globs of product on my lashes. I will say I have naturally long, thick lashes and maybe that’s why it clumps….don't know. I’ve tried wiping a LOT if not most of the mascara off the wand and it still clumps. The wand itself seems bendy and not the best applicator for this product. I’m going to try using a different wand and see what happens. The product itself is good, I suppose, it doesn’t flake off and it stays on well. It’s easy to take off at bedtime. I bought this on Prime day at a great deal to try it and so far, it’s not the best.

Put this on, cleaned up my mess (on my face) and 24 hrs later still on, no flakes!! First time in a long time!! Didn't do any of this on purpose, but great first day test on new mascara!! I don't like the wand, but I hope to get better with it. I was skeptical, but so far highly impressed. Will update if I lose confidence in it!!

First, the good. I like the satisfying "click" that lets you know it's fully closed. However...let's get to the list of reasons why I will never purchase this mascara again. - It flakes quite a bit. This is my biggest complaint. - It's quite difficult to take off, even with my powerhouse eye makeup remover that's never had issues with any other type of mascara. Did you want more flakes? Because you will somehow get more flakes here, too. This is my second biggest complaint. The first two issues were enough to make me decide not to purchase again. The rest of the list is why I'll probably toss this whenever my preferred brand arrives. - I find this mascara does not apply evenly. - A second coat (or what should be a first coat from missed areas) results in significant clumping on the eyelashes, which is weird since it's not terribly clumpy on the application wand like some mascaras are. Is this the promised "volumizing"? Because it's quite thick and unattractive. - It also seems to smear its way into places it's not supposed to be, then as mentioned is difficult to remove. - In these cases, it still manages to miss shorter lashes on the edges. - It doesn't lengthen significantly. Darken, yes. Lengthen, no. - Application wand is a long, straight stick and bends. I prefer a shorter, more stable application wand. The applicator wand might also be part of why it's difficult to apply. Might these application factors be operator error? Yes, yes indeed. Which means that if you, like me, don't have mascara application superpowers, then may not be the brand for you either. It's just a lot of work for a not great result. Plus, this brand markets to an older audience - I can't imagine trying to use this without being able to see clearly or with slightly shaky hands as some of the older women I know have. That's a big fail for me, and certainly a deterrent from purchasing this brand in the future.

I love the Kajal mascara but usually wear the black so I thought I'd give the brown a go. It goes on well, doesn't flake and cleans off easily. I dropped a star as I'm not convinced the brown is quite as good as the black. It is the best brown I've tried in a long time.

This is one of the most long lasting mascaras I have tried, gives length and easily gives volume with a couple of coats. Good value for money.

Mascara was empty....disgusting

I love this mascara. I have very sensitive skin and had no issues using this. Definitely made my lashes look fuller and longer with only a couple of coats. I hate wearing multiple coats of mascara as it feels uncomfortable. A nice deep black. It took a few goes to remove it but my eyes weren't red or sore afterwards. I try multiple mascaras as they never in my opinion match their description but this one I would certainly buy again.

Having tried a variety of mascara all different brands this is definitely the best ! It’s so easy to use doesn’t smudge but easy to take off ! No rubbing eyes to remove !
