I waited until the bottle was almost out to write this review. I found the Child Farms OatDerma lotion when I was looking for a cheaper alternative to the oatmeal colloidal cream that Aveeno sells. I was not expecting this to work better but it did! I would recommend this if your little one is prone to dry skin on their arms and legs. My son’s dry skin has improved so much since we started using this lotion, no more redness or itchiness - I also never noticed a strong scent from this product either. It’s a fast absorbing formula in my opinion and does not leave any greasiness. I am satisfied with this product and will be buying again! ☺️

So... ME PERSONALLY. Not scientific. I have psoriasis. On my elbows and knees. I am NOT on meds or medicated topicals. My insurance will not cover it. I do not have it all over my body, just the knees and elbows. It did not make the psoriasis disappear. I don't know if it ever will go away. But my personal psoriasis always itched. Caused pain. Would get tight with CERTAIN topicals, become inflamed from purfumes... Mostly discomfort. Constantly putting lotions on to be comfortable. My bright red, inflamed, my skin is not happy, uncomfortable skin tightness is gone. It has smoothed over the psoriasis, not as "scaley" or flakey. It IS STILL THERE. It did not disappear. But it is A LOT MORE MANAGEABLE. This has a very mild, floral scent. I dont believe it is ADDED to be purfumey, MY OPINION, it more ingredient scent than an ADDED scent. Me, personally, and my husband agreed... "It looks better" It feels better. Is it a cure? I dont think so. Does it make me more comfortable YES. Will I continue to use on MY psoriasis, YES.

I *only* have Atopic Dermatitis which usually flared up around my mouth during winter. This year, I had flare-ups all over my face up until I started using this moisturizer in July. (I eliminated the rest of my skin care routine - just Cetaphil to cleanse and this) In less than a week, I noticed actual improvement. Within two weeks all the flare-ups had disappeared. I continued using exclusively for a month and my skin looked normal. The last 3 weeks I have returned to my regular skin care routine substituting this for my previous moisturizer and everything is still going well. Definitely promising and worth a try if you've been frustrated with skin issues.

I bought this based on other reviews. I have Psoriasis. It will not cure your Psoriasis, rather it provides an excellent moisturizer to the affected skin. I saw immediately after use. However, I decided to stop applying it to see how well it kept my problem at bay, and it did not. You will have to keep using this lotion all day, everyday, a few times at least to keep the skin soft and presentable. This lotion is not a cure all.

My 3 year old says it stings her, but she has extra sensitive skin. But it works great on my newborn and he does not break out with this lotion as other brands.

This product claims to help with psoriasis . I did not find this to be the case for me. That being said it is a nice lotion with a good smell. also I had an issue with an order,I ordered 2 and only received one when I contacted them they sent the . other right away. Very good customer service. a little pricey for the size.

This was a response to another comment, but worth repeating: Please keep in mind that there is NO CURE for psoriasis. It is an auto-immune disease (similar to eczema). This cream, along with other methods will keep it under control. My method: soak feet once a day in Epsom Salts, then get a good, pure Aloe gel (sold here), apply after soaking, then apply the cream. I also add pure coconut oil and Tamanu oil in the water. Soak for 15 - 20 minutes in warm water. It works for me, and I have purchased 4 bottles so far. Use as often as you like (I use it at least twice a day). The key to all this is moisture. Keeping the affected areas moisturized slows down the process of your psoriasis and helps with the itching and breakouts. If you take this advice you just might see a difference. One other thing: All the different pharmaceuticals (prescriptions) whether it be in pill form or cream on the market have some nasty side effects and contain steroids which will not work, aside from the fact they are very expensive.

Purchased for my husband. He has reported that it is one of the few things that has worked for his eczema. It takes away his itchiness. He says it does burn a bit when you put it on raw skin. Ordered a second and third bottle. Update Feb 2021: Half way through our fourth bottle. My 5 year old now uses this. She gets red and itchy eczema on her wrists and this is the only product that she says doesn't burn when she applies it (we had tried several other children's creams). My husband still uses and likes it. I am considering buying the 4 pack so I have lots on hand!

Not moisturizing enough! Formula is too thin.
