Time will tell….but so far…..UPDATE!
Picked up this Olga Lactic Acid serum. Beautiful, heavy packaging! Pump dispenser.I’ve used a couple times thus far. It’s drying for me. I live in AZ, a very dry climate. I’m older - 62. As with a lot of products, I needed to top with a more moisturizing serum and then a moisturizing lotion. Not sure if this will defeat the purpose of this product, but i just can’t use it without. Time will tell and I’ll update.I also don’t think I could use this daily. I’m going to shoot for 3x week.As far as its price, the super nice packaging has to be part of it. One photo has this one ounce next to another one ounce serum. Hard to even see but it’s considerably bigger. Do I care about this fancy of packaging? Not really. If the product proves to do some good, the product inside might be worth it.I’ve bought a lot of high end, department store cosmetics/creams in my day and this may be comparable. We’ll see.Final note - important to manage expectations 😂UPDATE - I have been using this serum since 10/17/23, 2 pumps every other day. I wanted to update because out of all the serums I have used, this one seems to actually help me! It improved my skin and softened lines. It is very pleasant on. Due to the price, I plan on putting it on gift lists, etc, and perhaps picking it up myself at times. I definitely want to keep using it.Also, using it as I am, I still have 1/2 of the container left as of 12/29/23. I also noticed a lot of comments about a peppermint smell. I do not notice a strong smell. In fact, every other serum I have or have had smells worse - some way more so. Personally, I am happy with the scent.

Product changed significantly from the past!
I have been buying this product since 2011 until 2021. Then I stopped for sometime and i had wanted to buy it again last month. I have noticed a huge change in the effectiveness of the product and in the smell! The smell is awful, and not how it is used to. On top the product had a very negative impact on my skin, I have break outs, increase sebum, chin area has become uneven-ultra sensitive and it s taking me time to recover rmy skin. This is a tremendous difference from the previous version, when i never had these issues. I am minded to throw it away, and would definitely not repurchasing. Not sure what they have changed in this amazing product to make it so bad!

The peppermint scent is just too much for me
I was so excited for this Olga Lorencin Lactic Acid Hydrating Serum. It has some great ingredients such as:Tremella Mushroom (which helps draw in moisture)Lactic Acid (which gently exfoliates)Peptides (which help prevent irritation & improve resiliency)BUT it also has such a strong peppermint scent that I just do not like at all and can’t get over. It actually gives me an instant headache, so I had to discontinue use.If you’re a fan a peppermint scented skincare products, then this may be worth a shot. If you do not like fragrances, especially peppermint, then I suggest you skip this serum…

This ain’t the one
I wish this listing mentioned the fragrance and the peppermint oil in this serum. Fragrance is something I gamble 50\50 on with skincare. Usually I do just fine with it, but I know that I can be an irritant for many and isn’t great to add to skincare. I also prefer not to use anything with peppermint oil in it, just because. I do like using acids in my face for exfoliating, but I am used to them. Lactic acid is one of the weaker acids and can be used more often, but with those two added ingredients I’m not a fan of, I’d use this less and not more. Which defeats the whole purpose. There are better budget options out there with similar ingredients and less additives.

Skin looks great
This is a really nice serum. My skin has improved since using it. The glass bottle looks fancy and feels luxurious to use. It pumps out just the right amount. I use a pump or two both in the morning and evening after washing my face. The serum glides on smoothly and is quick to absorb. It doesn't pill on my skin or irritate my face. My skin overall feels smooth and looks bright and clear. Highly recommend! It is expensive, but I would definitely consider re-purchasing.

A bit Pricey
I've been using the Olga Lorencin Lactic Acid Hydrating Serum for a few weeks now, and I have mixed feelings about it. On the plus side, it's lightweight, absorbs quickly, and doesn't leave any residue behind. My skin does feel softer and smoother after using it, and I think it's helped reduce the appearance of my pores a bit. The addition of hyaluronic acid is definitely a bonus, as it helps lock in moisture and keeps my skin hydrated throughout the day. However, there are a few downsides to this product. For one, it's quite pricey, at $83 for a 30ml bottle. That works out to over $2 per ml, which is definitely on the high end of the skincare market. Additionally, the bottle is quite small, so you may find yourself running out of product fairly quickly. Another issue I had with this serum is that it can be a bit tricky to apply. The dropper dispenses a fair amount of product at once, which can make it difficult to distribute evenly across the face. I found myself having to use a bit more product than I needed, which resulted in some waste.Despite these issues, I generally like the Olga Lorencin Lactic Acid Hydrating Serum. It's a high-quality product that delivers on its promises, providing long-lasting hydration and helping to improve the appearance of my skin.
