I love this for two reasons - 1. I can use it as a stand-alone leash connecting to my waist belt and it's the perfect length for me and my dog. 2. It can extend my other leash when I want to give her plenty of room to explore, when i don't need her as close to me. I prefer a 3' leash when running with my dog because it keeps her close, which is what I want. 4-6' is too long for her just yet (she's young still) when on a true walk or run. But for exploring or sniff walks the longer leash is great. Highly recommend

I have a dog that will chew through anything. She’s a Westie, which is a small dog, but she is strong. This leash will contain her, and she has not been able to chew through this product. Very very satisfied.

Works great for my English springer spaniel but kinda heavy as well.

The bungee tension delivers quite a bit of kickback before the dog maxes out the stretch. I bought this to save my rotator cuff and ended up going with another product that has a softer tension to absorb impact. Much better experience for the handler.The hardware on this is nice and feels durable, as does the casing. Might be a nice extension to a tie out cable.

I've been wanting to walk my dog handfree for a while because it is just more comfortable. I've had a handfree leash that I really like however the problem with it was just too short by the time I clipped into place around me and wasn't fair to my dog to have to be walking less than 1 foot away from me. Neither of us were comfortable on walks, that was until I got this extension leash and WOW has it changed our walks!What I love about the extension leash is that it has a handle for quickly pulling my dog back if needed or when we walk across the street or busy areas that I can easily keep her under control. Also it is a good safety handy in case something were to happen to my main leash I can still keep positive control of her without much trouble. I like the fact that the extension is a bungee after using it a couple times now, I was really hesitant about using a bungee leash extension because I've tried leashes with bungee functionality and they were just absolutely awful for both me and my dog as she's just pull hard and it was then drag both of us together. However with this bungee leash extension since my handfree leash is the primary leash part the bungee acts as a lead control for when my dog is walking giving her that extra bit of freedom to walk in front, however it also is taught enough that when she attempts to pull I can just stop in place and the extension leash will pull her back because of how heavy duty it is. She's quickly learned to not push and test maxing out the bungee extension because it is not fun for either us on our walks.Overall, really digging the Tuff Pupper extension leash and I'm really digging the brand overall for the different dog equipment that they offer. High quality that seems to be durable, functional and overall they offer a great lifetime warranty with no extra frills and also support donations to rescues and other dog related activities which is a big positive for me!

This is exactly what I was looking for. I had a regular hands free / waist leash, but when adding the double leash it was pretty long and my two dogs were very far from me. I was looking for a shorter extension leash but it also needed clips on both ends to work with what I currently have. Very happy with the product and quality! The shock absorbing part is pretty tight but that’s not a concern of mine, I’m sure it loosens over time with use too.

Bungee and stitching came apart.

Nice bungee lead. We are using it for a 50lb puppy when she is tethered in the yard, so she doesn't run and hit the end of the line too hard. It seems very durable. We've been using it for a month now-usually just a few times a day for short periods while we are outside with her, so it's not used constantly. I plan to get another one to use as a leash when leash training, too, mostly for my shoulders...lol. Nice product.
