Flexible Epoxy Wood Filler & Putty, 450ml Dual Cartridge, Cold

I ended up using more of the cold formula than the warm formula due to the northeast. As long as you do your prep right, you'll have a very good result. When you smooth this Product during application, make sure you get it as smooth as you possibly can BEFORE SANDING. This product dries extremely hard, it's like sanding aluminum. I have a particular project that prior contractors were always using a Bondo type product that always popped out after a season or two, granted prep could've been an issue. So far the product's been fantastic. I'll be doing a one year inspection soon. Update coming.

I didn't know what I was going to do. I tried some of the two-part putty mix from the big box stores. It sort of works, but it's hard to mix and very difficult to shape and place for anything but the smaller repairs. This stuff exceeding all my expectations, including the ability to put it on in 45 degrees! Mixes fast and easy, stiff and very workable, and cleans up easily with mineral spirits, even when partially hardened. I was able to mix and place three full tubes in this spot myself well within 30 minutes. Please ignore my messy technique. I ordered more to come around for another pass to clean up the top (it was too soft to really get clean in two dimensions. Holy SMOKES it's expensive, but nothing else is remotely like it. This is the happiest I've ever been about any home improvement product. I'm 100% keeping a tube of this on hand always now.

I have utilized many tubes of this product in my home restoration work. I have searched for years, for a product that actually not only worked, but a product that was formulated to provide a permanent restoration. So far...incredibly impressed! Joe

Stupid expensive, but works well. In cold weather I still had to use a heat gun to finish hardening the epoxy. Even after sitting overnight. Think the temps were in the mid to upper 30's F overnight. Started mixing my own with cold cure and fumed silica to save money.

The developer and owner of Next Generation Systems / Dura Fix is John Stahl. I spoke with John about the product before purchasing it. I bought two tubes of the cold weather formula and the application gun. Everything worked as advertised and I could not be more pleased with this product and its ability to repair wood in my old house that has rotted away and needs an epoxy to stick to the good wood and be able to sculpt it to match the original design. Once the epoxy dried, I just had to rough it up to paint it. Highly recommend this product.

Worked as required

The product needs a special caulk gun (not just double barrel, but double barrel for a larger size) and I can’t buy one for less than $100. Return window has closed, so this was an expensive mistake.
