I bought this fan to circulate air in a greenhouse, and I wanted it to be connected to our home automation. After experimenting, I discovered that the electrical box on the fan would just barely fit an Enbrighten Z-Wave fan controller inside and still have room for the fan's capacitor. After some work, I got it to fit and work excellent. I have the controller connected to the medium wire on the fan so it can run at extra-low speed for light, nearly silent circulation. It works great.Out of the box, I really appreciated the build quality. It comes with a power cable with an electronic safety, which is nice, but the safety switch resets and disconnects power to the fan in any power loss to the safety switch. The fan is properly grounded, and a separate ground wire connects the box to the motor.The fan has two bolts on the sides for tensioning the movement of the fan's angle, and it includes two plastic knobs to adjust it, but the knobs do not fasten to the fan. They came loose with twist ties around them. It would make more sense if they could be fixed to the tensioning bolts, and I suppose they could be adhered somehow.

I installed this on my bedroom and it puts out nice airflow and white noise.

This fan has been a life saver for the chickens in our backyard pen. It is powerful and quiet. We were able to hang it securely from the top of the run to blow down on them. Has so far been water proof and functions well.

Great Air flow. Mounting can be difficult if mounting high.

I use these in my dog kennels. Lots of hundred degrees days here in Kansas and pop up storms. No fear of them getting wet or shocking a pet. They run non stop spring through fall. No issues.

When I workout on my Treadmill, my head gets very hot. So, I installed this on the wall in front of my treadmill to blow on my face, and it's perfect! The only issue was that the chain is setup to pull down when mounted on the ceiling. So, my wall mounting would've made the chain pull out to the side, instead of downward. So, I disassembled and reassembled it to make the chain hang more downward.
