Now we are able to charge both types of EVs
We have Teslas and some of our friends have them too, but we have others who have non tesla EVs. When our non Tesla EV friends come over they have no way of charging except for a 110 or 220 plug in.. Which is slower than using a destination charger. SO, we gave this adapter a shot from E-Kite and IT WORKS!Unfortunately didn't get a picture of our friend using it... However, he was able to charge his IONIC from our Tesla Home Destination charger at 48a with this puppy!. He was happy. This is handy to have regardless of what type of EV owner you are..Feels pretty good, seem to be of great quality and is simple to use. Had no issue plugging the tesla cable into this adapter. and no issues plugging this into a Rivian and Ionic.. So far so good. Works great!

Solidly built, works perfectly!
This is a nicely designed adapter! My only concern is that the 'tesla charger' side 'lock' button is a little bit fiddly, but I don't see that ever being an issue. The plastic is nicely molded and feels really nice/quality, and the port fits perfectly on both sides.

I tried a few different chargers for my car before I got this one and I can tell the difference immediately this charger is by far the best on the market. Highly recommend

Tesla charging adapter for J1772 EV's.
This Tesla to J1772 charging adapter is lightweight. Stores easily in your glove compartment due to its compact design. This unit is capable of up to 48A @250V, and has a locking mechanism when plugged in and IP65 rated construction.
