it doesn't say anywhere on it but i'm going to guess China, I bought a 2x size and it fits like a xl so be careful about the size you choose.

How big are the pockets? Do they expand? It doesn't look like there would be much room in them.

The pockets are of sufficient size and number that I can get a small pair of binoculars, a six foot dog lead, my wallet, collection of various keys, a paperback book, a 4x6 note book and pen, etc. and have to remember which pockets have which items. You could spend more and have more tailored look but for doing light work, walking a few miles, carrying all your items for flying and only have to dump your vest on the TSA belt, I am satisfied.

There are two zippered pockets on the inside. One on the left side and on e on the right side.
