Review has been UPDATED..... Reflects the Good and the Bad
UPDATE: This is my second time to buy these and to be honest, the first time purchased these were brilliant. A real life-saver. My second time ordering and - of course - a different batch made from possibly a different plant, but the second order is not so good. The cat is pad trained by now so that's not the problem. The problem is that the pad does not hold up nearly as well as the first time ordering. It seems the pads are leaking somehow. When I pick the pad up, the floor is wet. A LOT! I'm thankful that I have a ceramic tile floor otherwise this could practically ruin a wood or carpeted floor. Also, the tape is not holding down nearly as well. I have had to resort to putting something heavy to hold on the corners of the pad to hold in place. Of course cats scratch, and that is when the pad can come up. And because cats scratch, you could say that is possibly why the pad leaks, but not true. I trim my cats claws on a regular basis, they couldn't possibly scratch a pad to leak. So to be honest, I just don't know if I got a bad batch or not, but the first order was so perfect! I will continue to use these pads until used up.... I am currently doubling each pad to prevent leaks. That works but it's not very economical. ORIGINAL REVIEW: These pads are a life-saver for me. I have a very senior cat who is going through kidney failure. He is not to the point to have him put down, but I want him to enjoy what's left of his life until that time comes. ~~~ So now you know the situation. Anyone who has had a cat with this condition knows that the cat will not want to use the cat box because they - most likely - associate it with pain. So my cat began to pee just outside of the box,,,,,, and by the front door, not sure why that spot, but he does. Cat diapers did not work. He was like Houdini and escaped the diaper quickly. I found these pads and they have an adhesive back to keep them in place. They absorb, there is no smell (or very little), and they stay in place. Easy to see when the pad needs to be changed. These do not leak.... I'm fortunate that my cat hits the spot and does not hang his rear off of the pad. ~~~~ I only gave this four stars because of something that I had to modify. I know these are originally intended as bed pads, but using on ceramic tile floor, the pad stuck too well. The strip to stick to the floor is the length of the pad. When removing the pad, much of the glue strip stayed stuck to the floor. I used WD-40 to remove. But I didn't want to do that every time I used a pad. I use 4 pads a day, two pads for each location. So how I improvise this? When putting the pad on the floor, I only pealed off maybe 3 or 4 inches of strip on each end. When removing, it now almost always comes off the floor. A few times it hasn't but it only leaves minor residue. ~~~ For me, these pads are definitely a winner when using as an animal pad! ~~~PS, kitty poos in the box.... thank goodness!!!!

5-star Chucks underpads: absorbent, comfy, great bulk value—recommended!
This Chucks Premium Disposable Underpad 100-count pack (30”x36”) is a 5-star lifesaver for incontinence care and pet training—reliable, spacious, and ultra-functional! Absorbency (key "ability" focus) is unmatched: these underpads soak up liquid fast and lock it in tight. I use them for an elderly family member with incontinence, and even overnight use leaves no dampness on the surface—no more mid-night bed changes or soggy sheets. They also work wonders for my puppy’s training: a full accident gets absorbed completely, with zero leakage through to the carpet. The ultra-absorbent core handles large volumes without feeling heavy or bulky, which is a game-changer for both adults and pets. Quality is top-tier for disposable pads: the top layer is soft, non-irritating fabric (not scratchy like cheap chux) that’s gentle on sensitive skin—no redness or discomfort even with all-day use. The backing is thick, tear-resistant plastic (won’t rip when adjusting or moving) and the adhesive tapes are strong but easy to remove (no residue left on beds or floors). Each pad is evenly constructed, with no lumps in the absorbent core—consistent quality across all 100 count. Value for money is unbeatable: 100 XX-Large (30”x36”) pads at this price is a bulk deal that saves big long-term. Similar single packs of 20-30 pads cost nearly as much as this 100-count bulk, and the absorbency and quality are far better. For anyone needing regular underpad use (adult care, pet training), this bulk pack eliminates frequent restocks and cuts down on cost per pad—total value win. Use versatility makes it a multi-purpose essential: they’re designed for adult incontinence (beds, chairs, wheelchairs) but work equally well for pet training (puppy pads, senior dog beds) or even as temporary protection for couches during potty training, travel, or post-surgery recovery. The 30”x36” size covers large areas—fits queen-size beds, big dog crates, or standard armchairs without leaving gaps. The adhesive tapes keep them in place: no sliding around on bed sheets or pet beds, even when the user/pet moves. Comfort is a surprise highlight for disposable pads: the top layer is smooth and breathable, not plastic-like or sticky. For adults, it feels like a soft sheet overlay (no crinkling noise when moving) and doesn’t trap heat—way more comfortable than traditional thick incontinence pads. Even pets prefer them: my puppy doesn’t avoid lying on them (unlike stiff, loud cheap pads), which makes training easier. Protection is 100% reliable: the leak-proof backing and large size create a full barrier against liquids, stains, and odors. For beds, they shield mattresses from permanent urine stains; for carpets/furniture, they prevent pet accidents from seeping into fibers (no more hard-to-remove smells). The absorbent core also locks in odors well—no lingering smells even after hours of use, which keeps rooms fresh. Whether for adult care, pet training, or temporary protection, this underpad pack is a must-have. Highly recommend!

So Far They are Leak Free
I buy a lot of puppy pads. I have two small dogs that I can’t take outside on a regular basis because I have to use a walker. They are paper trained. i’ve had them both for a few years now and we go through quite a few puppy pads and I buy them a couple times a month. I’ve tried a variety for friends and I’m impressed with these. If you were to see some of my other puppy pad reviews, you would see that I say that I haven’t really had any puppy pads that haven’t leaked at some point but so far these haven’t. I can’t really say how well the sticky stuff works because I didn’t use it, but these are probably among the best puppy pads that I’ve tried. The price is great to get 100 puppy pads in a pack that do what they’re supposed to. Needless to say they’re not just for puppies, but they are ultra absorbent as described.

Quality Disposable Pads
These Curera Chucks Premium Disposable Pads are awesome! A great size for my small dog. Great durability and prevents leakage. These chucks are thicker than other cheap pads that are selling for the same price or even more expensive than these. I will definitely continue buying these in the near future.

Make great pee pads for dogs
We use these as puppy pads for adult dog. Plenty absorbent and order mitigating. Dog can use more than once and the pad still absorbs it without issue.

Exactly as advertised; Worth the price!
Exactly as advertised. Adhesive strips work well to hold it in place. Absorption is excellent. I usually put a doubled bathtowel over it to assist. just bought 100 more 30x36. My wife is overnight incontinent with frontotemporal dementia. The bed is completely dry.

Great product for hospice cats and some other special needs cats
I like this brand of underpads. I use them in front of the litter boxes and in two other places where my ancient cat is trained to pee, and she has CKD and three legs and severe arthritis in her spine, so she drinks a lot of water and pees a lot almost sitting down because she's missing her rear right leg and her spine is bad and kitty is becoming a tiny bit incontinent so it's good to keep a pad close by for her if she can't make it to one of the three litter boxes. Thankfully, she was quick to take to being trained to pee on pads if she doesn't want to or can't hop into the litter box. This brand has a nice quilted finish that makes them thinner and easier to store. They suck up liquids fast and hold them with white fluff that I can only imagine is processed wood pulp and superabsorbent polymer, and even when my kitty scratches on them to 'bury' her pee, they don't leak. The adhesive strips aren't great; the pads get scratched at every day and the adhesive strips barely help to keep the pad sort of in place for a short time, eventually the pad ends up partially piled up whether I use the adhesive strips or not. These are also pretty reasonably priced for a box of 100 of the hugest size pads I've found so far. I like to give kitty plenty of room on the pad. Sometimes she goes to the pad in front of any of the three litter boxes and pees on the pad and makes no attempt to hop into the litter box. With all this talk of cat pee, does my apartment smell like a litter box? Nope, these are great for odor control, and the pads get changed frequently, the litter boxes are cleaned one to two times daily; kitty pees a lot due to CKD so I spend more than my fair share of time cleaning litter boxes and swapping pads so things stay nice and fresh. She's an only child hospice cat and I'm a cat lady, so she's beyond spoiled. These are also excellent to take with you on trips, put a few in a plastic bag; you'd be amazed at the range of uses. Once I put an under pad on a wet picnic table bench, and did the same across from me for my partner, and we laid one out on the picnic table and used it as a disposable extra-absorbent tablecloth and ate dungeness crab, without getting our bums wet and with a large clean surface to eat off of that absorbed the liquid mess from cracking crab, and it served as something to wrap up around a heap of wet crab shells to pack out the waste, and hold in all the smelly crab juice. These do really well not leaking, even when challenged with cat claws and sharp crab shells. And there are tons of off-label uses for these. I line the cat carrier with a pad because kitty gets carsick. I've placed these under large houseplants to keep drained water off of the carpet. (You can dump at least 1500ml or 1.5 liters of liquid on these pads and they absorb it all. That was when I was cleaning out the cat fountain that has to be disassembled and partially emptied before it can go to the sink for cleaning.) When I use my carpet spot cleaner, if I made a really large damp area that can't be stepped over, I put a pad upside down on the unavoidable damp clean patches of carpet to walk on and the pad seems to promote carpet drying. I hear these are also good for messy jobs, like changing oil or painting house interiors.

Good Price Good Price
I love the size of these pads and use them for my old German shepherd. I don't use the tape on the floor as it adheres too much and it is hard to get the glue off but the tape strips work excellently on fabric.
