FlexiFreeze Professional Series Ice Vest

I’ve always had an issue with my core temp rising very quickly during workouts or warmer temperatures outside. Yesterday was my first time trying out the vest. First off it’s very easy to adjust sizing and takes literally about a minute. Fit was good with no riding up on your neck and constantly having to pulling it back down. The Velcro is good quality and the ice packs attached easily (Tip: roll up the pack, adjust the top Velcro to the vest, then roll down matching it up. Much easier for me than pressing on and hopefully getting it right.) The zipper is good quality as well, large teeth, similar to what you’d find on a boating vest. I did wear a cotton shirt as suggested from the manufacturer. After getting everything together I immediately went outside to do yard work. It was 90 degrees and 68% humidity with full sunlight and no wind. I was completely comfortable and barely had any sweat for about an hour. The ice packs did melt somewhat quickly but the vest stayed cool. The only “issue” I had was when the packs melted down enough the vest, being a dark color in bright sunlight, began to warm up. Not hot but slowly getting uncomfortable. Time to change ice packs which I did not buy an extra set but will in the near future. After taking it off my shirt was wet from condensation but not soaked like other vests can do Overall I’m very happy with the vest. It’s well made, worked as expected given the conditions, and comfortable. Afterwards I cleaned it, folded it, put it in a gallon size ziplock and place the entire vest in the freezer. When you purchase the vest you have the opportunity to buy extra ice packs at a discount which would be a good idea if you plan to be outside for an extended amount of time. Next I’m going to try out mountain biking for an “extreme” test.

I will tell anybody about this brought up.Because I love it and I got extra inserts for it The ice packs that come with it.Do not lash very long, so I found some replacements that last a lot longer and I will not let anyone borrow it.I love it

I wish it came in a smaller size. I am 5'9" but thin, and the shoulder straps don't get tight enough. It is passable with them a bit too loose because the torso does synch tight enough, but still the scratchy velcro straps stick 6" out in front. Otherwise a good product as far as I can tell, but I hope the manufacturer reads this feedback.

I am a small person. This vest comes in "1 size fits all,' with velcro to adjust size smaller. That may be great for most people, but this vest weighs 10 lbs...I weighed myself with it on...some of which is the ice. But a fair amount is the excess fabric which makes it one size fits all. I have a horse farm and am outside a lot. I really didn't want to be carrying 10 extra pounds.

My husband was so excited to get this cooling vest, but the first day he wore it… it soaked his shirt and lost coldness fast. He said it wasn’t so practical to wear on his job. Too bad.

This is my 3rd purchase. 2 originals and one professional. Can’t really see a difference so save your money and buy the less expensive version they are both great for beating the summer heat

We are working in a boiler room and these vest work great. I purchased the extra ice packs and changed them about every 1 1/2-2 hours. I purchased 2 vests and my coworker loved his also. And I would highly recommend this product!

I wore the vest on my ride home from work and it was 102 degrees. It definitely worked it was a comfortable ride. It’s about a 40 minute ride it was still partially frozen. I’m very pleased with the purchase would recommend to other riders, and those who work outside.
