I got this HP 15-inch laptop for my wife to use in college, and it’s been exactly what she needed. It runs smoothly for online classes, research, and daily assignments. The screen is clear, the keyboard is comfortable, and it handles multitasking without slowing down. We’ve used HP products before and they’ve always been dependable — this one is no exception. Great value for a solid, no-frills laptop that just works.

Lots of plusses; Beautiful screen. fast action and more than adequate storage, at least for my needs. Smaller and lighter than my previous Acer, but still has a full size screen and keyboard. The minuses are few and, mostly, bearable. I've gotten used to signing in with a fingerprint sensor. Not installed. Likewise, I miss not having a lighted keyboard. Worse, the keyboard is very pretty, with silver keys matching the color of the case. The key color is not the issue; the issue is the way the letters are shown on the keys. The body of the letters are very thin, almost as if they had been carved with a sharp knife. Fine and good looking if you are a true touch typist with young eyes; not so good for an old codger tht has to look at the keys. Finally, this computer came with WINDOWS 11 installed. I HATE WINDOWS 11 !!! Enough said . . .

I have the same computer that I bought last year and decided to buy another one because I liked it so much. This computer is fast, lightweight, and reliable. I have had no issues using it so far and I use it for college and playing games from time to time. It streams great and when working on school work I often open upwards of 20 tabs in my browser plus many Word and PowerPoint documents at the same time, and this computer handles it all without any lag or issues. I recommend this computer 100% The computer came in two days as it was supposed to and was safely packaged in a second box and wrappings. The seller was just Amazon but I always trust Amazon so I try to only purchase from Amazon.

I feel weird writing the review for this laptop, on this laptop. I bought this computer for my personal side hustles, (Music and writing). I love how much storage space and RAM its got. I can play an entire file on my music software and it has never frozen. I can also stream videos and TV shows through it just fine. It's great for the price, rather a steal if you ask me. Highly recommend to anyone who wants to do anything.

I’m tech savvy and I shopped pretty hard for this laptop. It’s fast and the specs are good but it’s really let down by the screen. The screen is not FHD resolution, it’s 1366x768 which is not nearly as good as FHD 1920x1080. Additionally, the screen is not very bright and has a poor viewing angle - even a few degrees off-angle and the image gets washed out, especially viewing from above in an environment where you can’t open the laptop all the way to look at the screen dead on. I’m pretty upset about this because the HP marketing material talks up how wonderful the screen is and they hide the actual resolution where you have to really dig in the specs to find that it’s a 768 line monitor. They keyboard is not great either and I find myself mistyping on it often. I didn’t realize how much I would miss a backlight until I didn’t have one. It’s basically unusable for me, I’m going to have to relegate this to being a computer that is permanently docked to an external monitor and keyboard, and purchase another laptop for mobility.
