Hypnia 3 inch Memory Foam Mattress Topper, King Size 5ft x 6ft6

I have a bad back and bought a 2" memory foam mattress topper 10 years ago but it was no longer effective for my aching limbs. After a lot of research, I decided to go for a high quality 75kg 3" topper. They were all very expensive and I debated whether or not to get the Hypnia, simply because it was so much cheaper than its competitors. I need not have worried. It arrived within three days of placing my order. It unwrapped beautifully and did not have any odour. It looked good and felt good. After three nights of sleeping on it, I am in heaven. It is so comfortable, cradles and supports my body, whether I am on my side or back. For the first time in months, I have had a deep, refreshing sleep and no longer ache all over. I am also sleeping for much longer than usual and don't want to get out of bed in the morning - something quite alien to me! It is definitely quality without the price tag and I would highly recommend it.

I am pregnant and having trouble sleeping because my mattress is quite hard. This topper is really excellent now i can't get out of bed! and not just because i am pregnant! The only thing is, it does smell of chemicals when you get it so you have to let it air for a bit. Also i was worried that my king size fitted sheets would no longer fit but they do. Even with the smell (only slept on it one night so far!) it still makes such a comfortable sleep, you will not regret your purchase!

Definitely not 75kg/m3. All the info is here to do the calculation. Dimensions and shipped weight of 12 kg (that's including boxing and packaging). Density is 61.3kg/m3! So save yourself some money and buy a cheaper brand. I have had a cheaper topper without a cover and it doesn't slip over the mattress like this one. I'm going to remove mine. Ps that topper was cheaper and more tempur like. This just feels like foam.

I ordered this and was not expecting 2 free pillows with it, and were a nice surprise when I unwrapped the mattress. The mattress had the dreaded smell when I left it to expand on my bedroom floor, but after a week now it is barely noticeable and I might even shut my bedroom window soon. My mattress was on its very last legs, and I had gotten used to feeling all the springs as I fell asleep. This mattress topper solved that and made a big difference to my quality of sleep. The topper couldn't stop the terrible roll my mattress had, or help with springs that had given up the ghost, but it was still better to sleep on the topper than with out it. A couple of days after I got this topper a new mattress came to my house, a pocket sprung one, and this topper with that mattress is simply awesome. You do sink into the topper and my sleep is so much better. Before I put this on my bed, I couldn't help but lay on it while it was on my carpet and found that it was comfy enough for me to sleep on like that. The wife is also a fan of this topper, so I will happily give it 5 stars.

I wanted to wait a few weeks before leaving a review so I could see the topper working at it's optimum ability and I think I'm there now! Firstly I just wanted to say that I completely recommend this topper and the delivery service on a free delivery basis was exemplary. I ordered it on Friday and it arrived on Saturday morning by 11am! It's really important you do your research when looking for a topper. They are different weight bearing/support densities, this one is 75kg m3, I've seen cheaper ones sold online supporting a lower weight density, or been told this on making a query about them - they might feel good but many not give you the support you seek if you are heavier. Do correct me if I'm wrong. But either way this one is aces. We literally saw it expand before our eyes, and just left it out, opened a window to deal with the smell and went out for the day. I slept on it that same night and it took a little getting used to, it was probably still expanding to be honest, but after a few days, I was in wow sleep heaven. Previously I'd been waking with a bit of backache, I've developed a bad habit of writing in bed. I should replace my existing mattress, but I can't afford the ones I have my eye on. This topper is providing me a great interim solution and when I do upgrade I don't doubt with its thickness it will come in handy in the future. I have some valance bedsheets and find these cope well with the increased height of my bed. Fitted double sheets might struggle. So why the loss of a star? Well I find the topper moves around on my bed and virtually each day I have to yank it back into place! Plus, it's not quite a double size either. It's a few inches short which does bemuse me, I would have loved an exact fit, I had a 3cm topper prior to this which fit just fine, so not sure why this one doesn't? That aside, 10cm of memory foam combined has blessed me with decadent sleep and it's been a massive bonus and blessing to wake sans ache feeling well rested. Great product and impressively speedy delivery too. Love it, so pleased I invested in it.

I weighed up two or three options on Amazon that I had read reviews about for the type of topper I was considering - this one had not been reviewed by anyone prior to me purchasing it. I chose to purchase it after reading the website link for the product and it also came with a free matching pillow and protector cover. The purchase price was excellent value for money compared to the Hypnia website RRP when you take into account the price of the pillow alone. I had had mixed feelings about buying a topper or a new mattress - having experienced a memory foam topper on my sister's bed when staying over, I was not 100% convinced I would like one. However, as it was a far cheaper option to replacing my mattress I decided to give it a go. This has turned out to be an excellent topper, very firm and dense. The density and firmness took a couple of days to adjust too but it has proved a joy to sleep with and really supports your whole body. If you dont like firm mattresses you may not like this and prefer a less dense option. I unboxed the topper and left it on top of the bed and it unravelled and puffed up within a couple of hours of opening (How do they get it in the small delivery box along with the pillow????). I personally found the matching pillow a bit too firm for my liking and went back to my Ikea one - the matching Hypnia memfoam pillow had come free with the topper anyway so no cost to me and I cant fault it otherwise for quality like the topper itself. I did find the topper keeps the heat in the bed - which is no bad thing for our cold Scottish nights - however during the recent unusual warm spell I felt I was overheating (but wasnt everyone!) - I just threw off my quilt and slept with the flat sheet over me. This was a pleasant change for me as I feel the cold very easily. Triviality this really - I now look forward to my topper keeping me cosy in the winter months and not needing an electric blanket to heat the bed up first before I get in it! Have had it now for a week and it does the job provided that your mattress has a firm support as it says on the details of the product. Once opened it will take about 3 days for the smell to dissipate completely but to be honest from day one I wasn't bothered at all. I do however have to mention that the quality of memory foam is not as it is claimed. I have seen memory foam mattresses and toppers from a local retailer and in fact a mate of mine bought one and the quality of their memory foam is much higher with a mustard/yellow color and not white like the Amazon/hypnia one and when you press it really shapes around your hand like it's alive. The one from hypnia does it at a much less degree. I only mention this because a Premium 75KG/m3 Visco Memory Foam is claimed and I am not really sure it is true. If you are not bothered by this comment and you have an old medium/firm mattress that is causing you aches and pains then this topper will definitely improve you overnight sleep and you will awake rested with no pains. I will try to update as time goes by. I am 1.92m in height and weigh about 100Kg.

I am impressed with this, I have found in the months we have had it that in the cold the bed warms up quicker and in the warmer weather you don't seem to get exceptionally warm. I had expected it to be too warm in warmer weather. I have found it comfortable and it still recovers it's shape when you jump? out bed in a morning. I did wonder if it would be like some I had heard of that start to lose their memory. The info received about it warns to air it for 24hrs after unpacking, I had to leave it for 3 days to clear the odour of the new mattress. Enjoy.PS, cetainly have less back pain with this.

l'oreiller offert a memoire de forme n'a pas été reçu. par ailleurs, la mémoire de forme du surmatelas n'est pas de bonne qualité en comparaison aux surmatelas d'IKEA ou bultex (confo), certes plus chers, mais rien a voir. Ce surmatelas a pseudo memoire de forme peut tout juste convenir à mon gamin de 8 ans; Pour lui, ça va. J'attends toujours l'oreiller. on va voir...

The mattress topper seems OK, but I ordered this because it said "includes 2 free pillows" and the pillows did not come. I called Amazon to ask if they could send the pillows and they said no. If I had known there would be no pillows, I would not have ordered this mattress. Please, Hypnia or Amazon, send me two pillows and I'll gladly update my review!

Bin echt super begeistert, eine wahrer traumhafter Liegekomfort, für jede Matratze zum empfehlen, habe die Auflage auf ein Luftbett gelegt und es ist einfach sensationell, besser als meine super teuren Matratzen. Die Höhe von 7,5cm ist auch super angenehm.Kann ich nur jedem empfehlen.
