The BEST can opener!
I have went through soooo many can openers. Whether it be electric or hand held. None of them have lasted or worked without eventually bending or going dull. This one is the best can opened, hands down. The size and ease of use is perfect, the appearance is esthetically pleasing and definitely worth the money compared to the value of the product. The lid removal magnet on the end works great as well. I'm finally done buying can openers since finding this gem!

The best opener ever!
Love the size, appearance and easy to store. Very easy to use and it’s sharp so no need to struggle. I really like the magnet end so you don’t need to touch the lid.

Defective-Doesn’t open cans
Can opener won’t properly grip can lid. All it does is puncture the top of the can then the gear that runs under the lip of the can slides off and no longer grips the lid so it can’t rotate the can. Tried to return but I was beyond the return window and Amazon would not make an exception even though it was delivered less than 2 months ago. The problem that I encountered is exactly what this opener was supposed to address.

If you like good, old fashioned engineering for kitchen utensils!
Why is it so difficult to find a GOOD manual can opener these days? This one is just like they used to make years ago! If you need a good manual can opener that doesn't slip gears and cuts metal like they used to, this is the one for you.

Not as good as the last one
I like OXO products a lot but miss my old can opener (same brand) because this new one isn't the same and doesn't work as well. It locks down which is a nuisance feature. I like that it has a magnet on the end of one handle. The problem is it doesn't always grab the can well and you have to fool with it until it does. Bring the old one back!
