Nice for Novice to Pro Carvers
The basswood was gift for my great nephew. He was inspired to learn to carve. The basswood is very nice to carve. It's a great wood That holds details, and easy on the knives and hands. The blocks of wood are very nicely cut and packaged. Very nice product.

Practice Blocks to Learn With
These are perfect for anyone new to woodcarving to learn and practice. The wood is smooth and soft and it has 2 different sizes of blocks. It’s a good amount of wood definitely a good price for a package with variety. I’d recommend highly.

Good but kinda tough
It's pretty good for intermediates but it is quite a tough wood for beginners. The sizes (big and small) and appearance of the wood is good quality. Sanding it down isn't too hard even with a small electric dremil.

It is much harder than balsa.
It is much harder than I expected. It leads one to believe it is similar to balsa in hardness. Th only similarity they has is they are both wood.

Das Lindenholz ist echt glasse und ohne Ast.Für meine Schnitzarbeiten genau das richtige Holz. Kann es nur weiterempfehlen.
