I found that I like weight on me to relax but sometimes my weighted blanket is just a bit too much. This little guy is perfect. I love how it was done very thoughtful with the weight distribution, the inner layer can be taken out and the toy can be washed (putting it back is a bit finicky to get that button at the inside of the nose into the sling. It helps to cover the Velcro with a piece of cloth so the material does not get stuck on it) There is also a layer that keeps the stuffing from moving or coming out. the weight is in little pockets so they do not move around. The stuffing is tight and it really feels like a real dog, not a squishy toy. Really nice. I fall asleep so fast and pretty much wake up in the same position. The material is very soft and I love to play with the floppy ears, very relaxing! I also like the face, he looks so happy! I find the otter very cute but a bit less happy looking.

I ordered the red panda for myself, as an adult with anxiety. I’ve tried other weighted items in the past (blankets, plush). The red panda is just the right balance of weight and softness for me. I generally have it with me when relaxing in the couch and it’s a must-have for sleeping. I considered rating the item as 4 stars because I’ve had to sew up a number of holes in the seams of the legs and tail, but it’s been an easy fix with extremely limited sewing skills. Taking into consideration the cost comparison to other comparable weighted plushes, it’s well worth the hassle.

I ordered the adorable sea otter, and my package arrived quickly. However, when I opened the box it was the red panda in a sea otter bag! Yes, the red panda was cute, but it was not the sea otter I had ordered as a gift. Seems it was a warehouse error. I contacted the company, they shipped out another sea otter, and even followed up to ensure this one was actually the sea otter when it arrived :)Excellent quality, love the removable weighted interior, and sweet expression on the otter. The seashell is held in place by Velcro on each paw. Happy customer!

The animal is weighted and very cuddly. Makes a great gift.

Our little Otter Companion has become a great addition to our sensory-oriented classroom! Even our staff members love its soft exterior and weighted feature that provides just enough pressure for those needing sensory comfort or security. Not to mention it's highly durable enough to withstand everyday classroom wear-and-tear! Adding one would only enhance any learning environment that supports special needs! I highly recommend this plush! We can't wait to collect them all!

They shipped me the wrong order. I ordered the Red Panda, but was sent the Otter. I saw another review that said they got the opposite, so I think it was just a mix up in packaging.That said, I absolutely love the otter still. The weight is roughly the size of a cat and the size is a little smaller, about the size of a bag of sugar.The otter comes with a detachable seashell and has velcro hands which is adorable. I would recommend that the manufacturer include small circular felt pads to cover the velcro when people dont want to have the seashell, but it doesnt bother me personally.Weight is removable through a, pretty easy to miss but still accessible pocket under the left (the other's left) arm, which is really helpful for washing.All in all, AMAZING product, just disheartening they sent the wrong one. Still worth it to me.

I bought this to encourage me to stay on my back while sleeping. It definitely helps! Reminds me of when my kids were small and I held them on my chest while they slept. It’s a comfy feeling. Love that I can wash this, too.
