Great knife
What's with the mediocre reviews for this knife? This is a five star $20 pocket knife. If you're reviewing it from the perspective of a benchmade knife snob, get over yourself. It's a knockoff, not an original--and honestly its a pretty darn good knockoff. Action is smooth, cross-bar locking mechanism works well, blade was very sharp out of the box, extremely light compared to other similarly sized knifes, nice color. The only real drawback between this blade and a real benchmade was the finish of the blade, but really, this blade finish is as good or better than most other knives in this price range. I'd buy this knife over and over and over again. I would not buy a benchmade at all. The moderate jump in quality does not equal the hilariously massive jump in price. The benchmades I own were given to me by the Army and they're so valuable I don't like to use them. I'd rather carry a good $20 knockoff that can walk the walk and talk the talk just about as good as the $200-$300 original. You won't regret this knife, even if you lose it. You will regret the benchmade, especially if you lose it.

Just buy it!
Nice knife for the price. It's not a Benchmade, but for the price, it is well-made. I'm not sure about the steel, but for a knife at this price point and intended use, I don't expect super steel. Make a good EDC, and if lost or stolen, not a big hit to the wallet, as a Bugout would be. Looks almost identical to my Bugout, sans the logo.

Knife is ok, sharp, a little rough.
This knife is ok. It's very sharp! Not sure how it compares to an original Bugout knife because I don't have one. I can't open or close it with one hand yet, partly because it's a little tight, and I don't want to mess up and cut myself. The plastic on the knife had some flashing on the edges, and I smoothed it out with fine sandpaper and a nail file. It's bigger than I thought it would be, and next time I will try a mini bugout style.

Worth the money if you like the original!
We all know this is a "clone". I've owned a few of the originals. This one is a great knock-off and well worth the money especially for using in environments where you don't want to damage the original. I was surprised at how good it is. I may buy a few more.

Excellent affordable knife
Very light weight, sharp out of the box, very smooth open/close. The handle is very thin, which make the grip not perfect, but I guess that the tradeoff for the very light weight. Overall exactly what was looking for and quality exceed my expectation for this price point, or even for double the price.

As good as the bugout
I had a benchmade bug out but I lost it at work. I was looking for something cheap to replace it with. This is just as good as the benchmade for a tiny fraction of the price. I will be buying more.

Nice inexpensive clone of a modern classic
I own several bm originals, but not one that matches this clone, so I can't do a direct comparison, but I suspect the original is of higher quality. That said, I'm carrying this daily, and it works well as a non-hard use pocket knife. If I misplace this or break it, I won't be upset given it's cost. On the knife edge itself, after a few minutes of doing passes on a strop with a medium grit compound, it was hair shaving sharp.

Yes, there are better options. GET THOSE INSTEAD
Ok. First. NO I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!! This is going to be a knife you buy because you are curious if it is anything like the Ozark Grail knife. No, no its not. Fit and finish was, ok. I mean it does open, and does close, and the axis lock does work. IT is indeed light weight. But, thats where the pro's stop. It does open, but nowhere near as smooth as 97% of the other budget knives I have gotten. Heck, my Kershaw Hotwire was cheaper, uses the SAME BLADE STEEL, never fails to open. And, I hate to say it, but has better buld quality for one of those cheapo knives. So I say, save your time, and go check for a Kershaw Hotwire for like around 15 bucks at Walmart. Or, if you want something that is similar to this, go to Walmart and buy the ACTUAL budget bugout, for 10 bucks. Ozark Trail D2 knife with orange scales. IN D2!!!!
