I love this shade!!! Only ONE recommendation (re: bungee tie downs. Read below) I bought a 7'x 6' shade, which wouldn't cover my entire patio, but I didn't want to spend a lot of money in case the shade didn't meet my expectations. My patio faces west and Texas summers are brutal. The shade is well made. I had someone else put it up for me and it didn't take long. It rolled up nicely if I needed to roll it up. It made a huge difference on my patio, and it also blocks the sun from patio windows and actually keeps the living room cooler. The one thing I do recommend is buying better bungee tie downs. I did purchase additional bungee tie downs with a closable clip. The ones that come with the shade are super thin, and did not have a great stretch. That seemed like a "snap hazard' with the wind we get in North Texas. Unfortunately, I forgot to pull the shade up the night before a fluke storm where we had unexpected micro-burst winds (sounded like a tornado) and the weighted poles on the bottom of the shade completely snapped. The weather was a fluke and I don't think they would have snapped otherwise. All the hardware is still in place, and the shade is still intact. The poles seemed extremely solid and sturdy, so I still recommend the shades, but maybe unhook the anchor cords and roll it up during major thunderstorms. I believe you can also unclip the entire shade to take it down easily, but even with a ladder, my patio roof is really tall. I just bought 2 more shades to cover the entire west side of my patio, and will roll them up in bad weather. My first purchase was worth every penny even for a week!

These are the best blinds I’ve ever purchased. Easy to assemble, great looking, holds up to high winds very well. I can see out, but others cannot see in. The sun is blocked perfectly. The performance overall is great! It is lightweight but heavy enough to do the job. Will highly recommend this product. I live in a city and it blocks my neighbors across the street so I can have some privacy and keep the sun off my porch. Love it.

First of all, people, stop freaking out when you order a 6'+ curtain And you receive a 3' box. The curtain is FOLDED up in a standard-sized box. The box even has a label that says "the shade is folded". Assembly: I only had one issue putting together the curtain rods. The set screw hole position on the middle rod piece was off by half a millimeter and I had to grind a little off the end of the middle rod piece to make the holes line up. Installation: The mounting hardware seems a little weak and I didn't like the fact that the hangers are just clamping onto the rod with the curtain in the way. I was afraid of overtightening the clamping screws and stripping the plastic. I used my own coated decking screws to mount the rod hangers. I also 3D-printed some spacers to make it fit well in the grooves of the vinyl siding sections without deforming anything. Between two curtain sets, I broke an eyelet while twisting it in and broke the head off of a screw for the cord hook. Therefore, I am glad I used longer and more robust decking screws to mount the hangers instead of the screws they supplied. Use: The shade goes up and down remarkably well. Bungee cords are included to secure it so that it doesn't flop in the wind too much. My family was able to enjoy dinner on the back porch without getting burned or blinded by our beautiful South Carolina sun.

We love these blinds. The temperature on our deck was lowered by at least 10 degrees and you can still see through the blinds. They made our deck feel like a room extension to the house without being claustrophobic. They arrived without the necessary hardware but the vendor quickly addressed the issue and we received the needed hardware. That said, they were very difficult for us to install. The instructions could be better. What would be nice is a link to a video of how to install them. At least the second blind went a lot faster. We will probably order two more for the lower level.

In the picture of the blind it showed it a light gray The color that I needed and totally different made but I received it early which is great and it is a dark gray not the color I needed but I did hang it up anyway but in the next couple of weeks I plan on ordering two more but I will be looking somewhere else because I do want the right color other than that it's pretty okay

This is not the qualoty I purchased a few years back! The other one had a roll up rod acrosd the top which made it sturdy and holders on each side this one you have several holes in top and need to hand hooks for each ( not included)Also they made me pay return postage and the return ticket had to be printed out not scaned at UPS. This cost an additional $2.50! There are cheap strings to pull it up and down . This would not handle wind at all!

They were easily installed and seem to be very durable. They block the sun from us on the front porch and carport but, allow for air too. They work Very Well for us!

Returned the first one because the box was only around 3’ long order a 7’ one. Didn’t open box and returned it and ordered it again . Got the second order the box was only 3’ again so I opened it and the shade was folded up and it was 7’ so the order was right so don’t judge the shade by the size of the box. Haven’t got to put it up yet , but it looks good and easy to put up.
