We absolutely love the Newton Baby Bassinet! The quality is amazing—very sturdy, well-made, and thoughtfully designed. Assembly was quick and easy, which was such a relief as new parents. Everything fit together perfectly, and it felt solid right away. Most importantly, my son slept so great in it. He seemed comfortable and secure, and it gave us peace of mind knowing he was sleeping on such a high-quality, breathable mattress.

I wanted to wait a couple months to make this review so that I can get the full feel for this bed. I am obsessed with the bedside bassinet. I have a 3-month-old and being able to keep her right next to me at night has made such a difference for feeding and my peace of mind. What sold me on this one is the breathable design — the entire thing, including the mattress, feels so safe. My baby loves it and sleeps really well in it, which is honestly the biggest win of all. Things I love: • Breathable mesh on all sides: I don’t have anxiety if she wiggles toward the edge, I can see her and she can breathe through it. • The mattress is actually comfortable but still firm and safe — so many bassinets have those stiff cardboard-feeling pads! • Height adjusts perfectly to my bed so I can reach her easily without sitting up. • Super sturdy — no wobbling when she moves. • Storage shelf underneath for swaddles, extra pajamas, and burp cloths so everything is right there during the night. A few notes: • It’s on the heavier side compared to some bassinets, but I’ll take sturdy over flimsy any day. • It’s a little pricier, but for me the safety and sleep we’re getting makes it 100% worth it. Overall, I love that I can soothe her, watch her breathe, and grab her quickly for night feedings without worrying she’s unsafe. If you’re a mom who wants baby close while still following safe sleep guidelines — this is perfect. I would absolutely buy it again!

I love the sleek design of this Newton bassinet! It is easy to assemble (took me less than 10 mins) and lightweight to move. This can function as a standalone bassinet or a bedside sleeper. It is a gray size for a bassinet and the mesh sides make your baby easily visible at all times. While we will not utilize the bedside sleeper, this is a lovely feature. The accessible side has C a nice height to it that would provide comfort of your child being able to remain in the bassinet but close to you and easy to get to. The height is adjustable so the bassinet can be at your preferred height or adjusted to the height of your bed for the sleeper. Overall, the functionality, design and quality are why I would definitely recommend this bassinet

Compared to the bassinet I used with my first child, this is a definite step up in terms of build quality and parent-friendly features. It is a sturdy, well-made piece of furniture that fits perfectly at the correct height next to my bed. The Standout Features: • C-Section Friendly: The side that zips down is a lifesaver for post-partum recovery. Not having to lift a baby over a high rail in those early weeks makes a huge difference. • Design & Assembly: It is a beautiful piece of furniture; the grey fabric and wooden accents make it look high-end and like it truly belongs in a bedroom. My husband also found it not too difficult to put together. • Safety & Breathability: The mesh sides provide great peace of mind and excellent airflow. Room for Improvement: • Mattress Surface: The mattress could be more resilient. Even with a sheet, spit-up and leaks tend to seep through and spread, meaning you have to wash both the cover and the sheet every time. Having a backup set is absolutely essential. • Mobility & Storage: While sturdy, I do wish it had wheels to make it easier to move. It’s also missing integrated storage; a small basket or tray for diapers and wipes would be very helpful. Overall: I would definitely recommend this. It’s a high-quality bassinet that prioritizes both baby safety and mother’s comfort during recovery.

Best bedside bassinet we’ve tried. Worked up to 6 months and could have gone longer but we transitioned to a standard crib. Height adjustment worked perfectly to raise to our mattress level. Sturdy and soft mattress was easy to change sheets. We kept it bedside but it is light and easily moveable if you were to take it around the house. Worth the money, wish we started with this and didn’t mess with less expensive options.

Its a very aesthetically pleasing bassinet. Its a great size (not too big and bulky), lightweight, and easy to move around. I love that it goes right up to the side of the bed. I exchanged another bassinet that was more like a pack/play situation and seemed significantly larger for the newton and i am so glad i did. Love the breathability too!!

This was such an expensive splurge but it was worth every penny for peace of mind. I can't say it's incredible quality - but my baby sleeps on it just fine so it must be fine enough. The mattress is fantastic - pee, poop, spit up...whatever. It doesn't seep into the mattress because it's not built like that.It's pretty amazing, especially if you're a germaphobe like I am. The height of this is perfect and it feels like next best thing to co-sleeping, my baby is literally right next to me. We also take it apart often and while that's not the most fun, it is definitely portable. But obviously the most important part is that it's breathable and solely because of that, I'm able to sleep at night. My sanity is worth the extra cost.
