I got the first book for a gift and read right through it! This book did not disappoint and I really wish the author had made these into a trilogy. Would definitely read over and over!

Rating 4/5⭐I really enjoyed Six Crimson Cranes so when I went to glance through some reviews for this one, I noticed a lot of mixed feelings, which made me apprehensive to jump into this one. But jump I did, and I'm not mad about it. This picks up right where Six Crimson Cranes left off and I felt it continued the overall story beautifully.The writing is just as good, the overall feel of the book is in the same vein, and we get more of the world, more magic, intriguing new characters & new environments. Now, fair warning, there is a bit of a love triangle to it, but we all knew it was leading to that. Ultimately, things are handled very maturely all around. No real lashing out at all, no huge drama, so it didn't really bother me.I enjoyed how the story played out and recommend checking this one out if you liked the first one. Don't be scared off by the bad reviews as it's worth the time it took to read it.

I found the story charming and inspirational. The truth of the world is that it does need balance.... a good healthy balance that promotes growth amongst beings. The tale was also a heartwarming love story. The book made me smile while my Covid shot was killing my arm....

I got the first book as a birthday present and loved it, so I had to buy the second one. I bought the hard cover and it was so pretty. Elizabeth Linn is an amazing writer and want to read more of her books!! I love fantasy and stories about magic and adventure. This book is an easy read and it keeps you in your toes. I finished this book in a week. Highly recommend.

I picked up this book right after the first book of Six Crimson Cranes, I loved her journey in the first book, her relationship with her brother's and the love that slowly build between her and Takkan. I really wanted to love this but it was kind of all over the place almost like the author wanted to smash action and romance and magic with different stories and different characters. In the end it just fell flat for me which was so disappointing being that I love the first book so much.I wanted more of Seyru and Gen, I felt such a disconnect in this sequel. Still I give it 3 stars because I still had some fun reading this.

Thoroughly enjoyed this book. I liked seeing Gen. I loved the family dynamics. Satisfying conclusion.

So for starters the sequel was a lot better in my opinion, the building of the dragon world and their realm was phenomenal and well described. How it helps to close one side of the story without completely make a nonsense of the plot. How it helps to show how much Shiori cares and loves Takkan.I do enjoy how Shiori and Takkan relationships shows a lot more of growths and blossoms , how they learn to relay in each other and trust their love is enough. Definitely will recommended to anyone that ask , this was a very entertaining adventure with lots of romance and high stakes.

loved the conclusion of this duology. I am sitting here sobbing, unsure how I will live without Takkan, Kiki and Shiori. The story is over and it was beautiful and I don't want it to end. I love what Elizabeth Lim weaved for us. I wish there was a third. Maybe more of this world could have been touched on. But overall I am so satisfied with that ending.

Really good and light book. I loved it (just like I loved the 1th one).

I already read six crimson cranes and couldn’t wait for this book to delivered

Pretty big book with big print, I would have opted for a paperback for these series

L'action, les personnages, l'univers etc. Même si je trouve dommage qu'on voit pas assez les frères de Shiori, dans l'ensemble ça m'a quand même beaucoup plu 🫶Puis jusque-là fin, j'ai eu des doutes quand même sur la manière dont les choses allaient se finir !Très envie de lire le prequel désormais 👀
