Product Description Invitation is the debut full length from San Francisco s Dominant Legs. The band is the project of long time Girls contributor Ryan Lynch. Building upon their previous Young At Love and Life EP, Lynch and vocalist/keyboardist Hannah Hunt are now joined by a full band, making the sound warm and complete. Review ''...adorably dreamy synth-pop sound, with lots of reverb and plenty of room to dance.'' --Npr''Dominant Legs, has a strange, immediately appealing sound that s part funky Belle & Sebastian/part late-night Arthur Russell/part something uniquely his own.'' --Stereogum

Best album of 2011, easily.
I can't believe nobody has reviewed this album yet! I read about Dominant Legs in a review in Under the Radar magazine. The review wasn't positive, but said they sounded like Fleetwood Mac mixed with something or other. Well, they don't sound like Fleetwood Mac. If I had to compare them to anybody, it'd be like M83 meets Michael Jackson meets Kool and the Gang meets a ska band. Seriously. It's a great album. Every single track except one is excellent. There's tons of pop sensibility, mingled with a sort or ska/punk energy and a fuzzed/jangled out keyboard/guitar combo. I don't really know anything about these guys, except that I took a chance on this album and loved it.

Good songwriting and original melodies
I really like the original songs and melodies. This is an album you will play over and over. One of the favorites in my music collection.

Excelente, 5 estrellas
Este es, simplemente, un discazo de música pop. Una banda infravalorada que lamentablemente ya no existe, los Dominant Legs han entrado a formar parte de esos grupos que añoras a pesar de tener sólo un larga duración. Un obligado en la audioteca del melómano.
