Pro Rig Power in a Tiny Mount
The NEEWER metal phone mount is like giving my iPhone its own VIP throne. Sturdy, sleek, and built like it could survive a drop-kick, this thing holds my phone tighter than I hold my coffee in the morning. The 360° swivel and 180° tilt are smooth as butter—perfect for switching from portrait to landscape without doing phone yoga. Add in the Arca QR base and I’m snapping it onto my tripod faster than a paparazzi catching a celeb. The cold shoe on top is the cherry on the sundae—mic, light, whatever—I can build a mini production rig in seconds. Compatibility is spot-on. My iPhone 15 Pro Max fits like a glove, and I tested it with a friend’s Galaxy S24—same story. No wiggle, no wobble, just rock-solid stability. In short: tough, versatile, and way more pro than your average plastic phone clip. The NEEWER mount makes my phone feel like it just leveled up into a full-on cinema camera. If James Cameron shot TikToks, I bet he’d use this.

Installs easy and is highly adjustable.
Love this tripod mount. It works great for self taping and is very adjustable. It works with my larger IPhone and holds in place nicely. Easy to mount. Great value for the money, I have three tripod mounts and this is my favorite.

Excellent phone mount for tripod !!!
It’s very well made. It has all the bells and whistles you can ask for. The fold down stand is very useful. The arcs base works well with my Neewer desktop tripod. It has three 1/4 threads and a cold shoe for my light. It holds the phone very well and it has never fallen off. I love this phone mount. It pairs great with the Neewer desktop tripod.

While a little tippy works great with Tripod
Moving to use Iphone as camera i found this fit on my Tripod adapter very easily. By it self it would be top heavy an be hard to keep upright. It is well made and any adjustment to position are also easy. Because an Iwatch i can now take photos remotely with up to a 3 second delay.

Versatile and well made, but clamp jaws shallow
NEEWER Smartphone Tripod Mount Aluminum Alloy, 360° Rotatable Phone Holder with Cold Shoe Mount and Arca Type Base Compatible with ... 2.6”–4” Wide Smartphones ASIN B0BLBZHMXW Sold by XingBoom, shipped by Amazon I really like most aspects of this smartphone mount, so I don't want to write a negative review. However, there is an important aspect that I hope will be improved. The effective jaw depth is only 0.5 inch (~1.27 cm), from the top of the rubbery clamp pad down to the rubber pad on the base of the clamp. The thickness of the Otterbox case for my Pixel 5a 5G also is 0.5 inch, at the only practical area on the case that avoids the phone's side buttons and lenses. The top of the case is slightly beveled, reducing its effective thickness; therefore, the mount can be used. Unfortunately, there is not enough safety margin. If the phone is clamped with a reasonable amount of force, so the phone won't be crushed, it is not difficult to twist the phone out of the clamp. If the phone is bumped a few times, it could fall out of the clamp. Without the Otterbox case, my phone sits farther down in the clamp, where my phone is held securely and without much freedom to wiggle -- but of course, I want my phone to remain in its case. I think the height of the jaws and jaw pads should be increased by at least 0.1 inch (0.25 cm). Maybe the clamp width could be increased from 1 inch to 1.25 inches (2.5 to 3.2 cm). The jaw pads should have higher friction, and the pad width should cover the entire jaw width, to prevent the phone from working out of the clamp jaws. The corners of the jaw pads should be more rectangular than round, to maximize the contact area and resistance to bumping. The rubber pad on the base should extend farther along the base. Maybe the design goal was to advertise a maximum phone width of 4.0 inches, but I think that is much less important than extra security. (I am thinking about how to add an aluminum lip above each jaw; I just need a precision drill press and a tap ...) One side of the pivot (knuckle) that holds the folding foot extension is slightly too close to the bottom of the foot. This isn't a problem when using the folding foot for increased stability without a tripod. I don't know if there could be a minor problem when using an Arca-type clamp. There is no perceptible play (slop) in the pivot, which is good. Except as mentioned above, the Neewer mount is excellent, well made, sturdy, versatile, and attractive. There is a 1/4" threaded hole in the head of the clamp screw, and a cold shoe and 1/4" threaded hole in the Arca-type end of the clamp. (The Ulanzi ST-14 appears to have the same effective jaw height as the Neewer, but slightly wider rubber jaw pads. The Ulanzi has no 1/4" threaded hole in the clamp screw, and I see no indication that the Arca-type end of the clamp includes any 1/4" threaded hole.)

Good iPhone holder
I have a phone tripod adapter made by Manfrotto and this one is better. It gets larger, easier to use, more manipulatable. We'll see how long it lasts but for now it's a keeper. Holds a 17 pro max no problem.

Its sturdy aluminum or steel construction ensures durability that plastic alternatives simply can't match. If you've had disappointing experiences with other mounts, this one is a game changer—designed to provide reliable support for your devices. Investing in quality equipment like this not only enhances your filming experience but also gives you peace of mind knowing it can withstand the test of time. Nice for the price
I've used a lot of NEEWER products in my photo/video career, and have always found them to be excellent for the price point. This tripod adapter is certainly in line with that. I've been using it with my iPhone 16 Pro all week to get both photos and video, and it has been steady and reliable. Being able to adjust and lock so many points of tilt and rotation on this has been helpful. It's pretty easy to use if you're at all familiar with most tripods, and feels relatively sturdy. It's about the perfect size for an accessory like this. Just big enough to feel like it won't fall apart, but small enough to throw into your camera bag in a pocket. I highly recommend picking one up if you're looking to step up your tripod game like I was.

Feels expensive. Is sturdy. Works well. Screws onto tripod, can't complain.

Decent smartphone holder and tripod adapter. It is made from plastic, so be careful not to force it or tighten the screws too much. Otherwise, the holder has a flexible design: it works in both portrait and landscape mode. The simplest mount uses only the holder part (the rotating support removed) screwed on the tripod head. A mini-tripod is the easiest option for desktop operation. For maximum flexibility, use the Neewer Z-Flex Tilt head as suggested in the photos (shown here in desktop operation). This is the second holder I purchased (the other one was for a friend). Recommended for vlogging, teleconferences, etc.

J'ai été agréablement surpris par la qualité du produit. Il semble très solide. Le système pour accrocher le téléphone et simple. Il tient très bien. Les 4 supports prévus pour fixer des accessoires sont très utiles aussi.

This unit is solid, easy to adjust, fits on the 3/8" screw on my travel tripod, the arc plate fits on my Wimberley WH-200 and my Gitzo tripod. The knurled knobs are easy to turn and tighten to hold the phone steady in the cradle. The rubber pads within the unit prevent the phone from being damaged and help hold it. It is light and compact so easy to carry with your gear. I like my full frame cameras but when my wife and I want a simple photo of us in front of something, this will work using my tripod, as I can frame the photo, give a bit of distance making the people and the background more spaced, get front to back focus, set the timer on the camera and get a nice photo. For the record I dislike and do not own a selfie stick !
