My three thousand dollar gaming PC only draws about 500 watts, why did I buy this monster? Well, it quietly hums under a 40 percent load, it is fully modular and it supports the newer high wattage GPU connection, so instead of two cables and a Y adapter you use one high wattage cable. Clean cable management , quiet, quality over engineered parts and numerous connections for potential future expansion. Even though I am a heavy gamer, this power supply cannot be hurt. You can achieve the same result with something cheaper but I don't want to protect JUST the power supply, I want my other components to last long as well. A monster brick that's barely sipping juice cannot be destroyed. This is a very good purchase.

Very high quality, feels like its made from aircraft aluminum. Well machined parts. All cables are braided and feel of good quality. Very quiet.

Mine lasted about 6 months until last night when after a loud pop it went completely dead. Now figuring out if it took the rest of my computer with it.

Great psu, only issue is it doesn't fit completely in the be quiet light base 600 without leaving out rear internal panels.

I bought my first Be Quiet power supply about 2 years ago, and I have bought 2 others since. They really are quiet. You pretty much have to stick your ear right next to them to hear them even under a heavy load from the GPU. Basically you can't hear them over the GPU fans. Power delivery is rock solid. I have the 1500 watt because I run an RTX 3090 Ti, RTX 4080 Super, and RTX 4090. The power supply comes with the PCIe 5 power cable too. There really isn't much difference in price between the 1500 and 1200, and since both are extremely power efficient, the cost to run the 1500 is very little extra per month. This is the only brand I will be buying from now on.

Absolutely not recommending this. Had nothing but issues with this kernel power 41 issues 77 code on my mb saying there’s a short. Wouldnt run my 5090 on 4k absolute junk. Bought a corsair and it fixed every issue. Finally got around to switching this out and sending it in for rma which cost me 65$ to ship it to Calli in the original box. They had it for a few weeks and sent me back the same unit not in the original box. I will never buy anything made by them again and can’t wait to tell everyone how bad of a company they are.

I'm starting to become a real fan (no pun intended) of Be Quiet!. It started out with just trying their fans, which work great and really are quiet. Then I decided to try their cpu cooling fan, which also is quiet, and works very good too. I wasn't sure if a fan company would be good at making power supply units but I gave it a shot and I'm glad I did! The PSU works great!

I just bought this PSU and have been using it for two weeks now. I recently started experiencing a major issue with it. This PSU (Dark Power Pro 13 1300W) cuts power to the computer while gaming (under load), but it does not do this when I'm just browsing the internet (idle). I checked the temperature of the CPU, GPU, and motherboard under load (while gaming), and they are all within good temperature ranges. The CPU and GPU are not overclocked, and all the cables used in the system are the original PSU cables, which are properly plugged in. I contacted be quiet! for an RMA, and they requested that I send the PSU first so they can check it out before sending me a replacement. That means I will be without a computer for several days. Thank you, be quiet!, for taking such great care of your customers. This will be my last purchase from this brand. I do not recommend buying this PSU at all. There are many customers complaining about it on Reddit—go check for yourself.
