Definitely one of the better travel pillows
I’m a terrible, terrible plane sleeper so in prep for an international flight to the south Pacific I purchased 5 travel pillows: the J-Pillow, the Travelrest All-in-One Neck & Body Pillow, the BCOZZY, the SkySiesta SNUG, and the Sunany Inflatable Neck Pillow. The J-Pillow was the worst and I immediately sent it back without use. There was no internal support and it just didn’t support my neck well which is my main issue. The Travelrest All-in-One was probably my favorite – especially if you had something to lean against like a window seat. You can also tilt the armrest partway up and lean against it. It’s a good and innovative pillow. I didn't get very creative with it. Just put it around me like a guitar strap and went to sleep. Beforehand, I had had thoughts of going around the seatback to keep me from moving forward but that didn't work out and didn't seem necessary. Another tip that helps after you have this pillow around you is to cram one or both of your forearms into it in front of you. This seems to tighten up the grip of it on your body and makes the pillow part at your neck much more stable. If I didn't do that, I found it to be a little loose no matter how much I tried to tighten the strap. The compactness of this things for travel is awesome. It's a good pillow. My wife liked the BCOZZY and confiscated it, so I can’t comment personally on it. I can say she liked it and slept well with it (although she’s just an easier plane sleeper than I am, so the comparison isn’t quite fair). I also used the SkySiesta SNUG quite a bit and it helped as well. It has great neck support and keeps your head from tilting. Another benefit is that it covers you ears (which is very important for me) and so keeps out quite a bit of noise. It somehow made my head feel really secure and so I slept pretty well with it. The Sunany Inflatable was OK as well. I’ll say it works better if you are flying coach. If the seatback or tray in front of you is too far away, this pillow doesn’t work as well. So any seat with extra leg room (bulkhead, business, etc) will likely drastically reduce the effectiveness of this one. In coach, you can basically cram it between you and the seat in front and it’ll keep you from flopping forward. My results were that I slept about 3 hours with one configuration (the Travelrest All-in-One) then would wake up, take more sleep medicine, and switch to another (the Sunany Inflatable). All told, after rotating pillows, I ended up getting 6-7 hours total sleep (on an 11 hour flight) which I was delighted with. Keep in mind that I’m a TERRIBLE (beyond terrible) plane sleeper. If you aren’t, you will likely have much better results than I did. So of the 5 I bought, I would purchase again the Travelrest, SkySiesta SNUG, and the Sunany Inflatable.

Best travel pillow
This is a favorite travel purchase I made in 2025. My husband laughed at me, I originally bought it for him but he mocked it so I took it back and kept it for myself. So incredibly comfy, and wicked simple to use once you reacquaint yourself with the strap locations and their uses. I took a screenshot and saved to my phone for future but honestly I think I’ll only need the one refresher. It’s so comfortable, I only put two puffs of air in mine because I want my pillow squishy. Deflating it is easy, and it stows away easily in the bottom of my personal item once I’m done. I already used it to fly this year and will continue to use it. I’ve added an eye mask to the mix and I think that will be the key to perfect sleep for me. My husband is just flat out on his own. The memory foam upper is very comfortable, I have the microfiber cover on mine that’s washable which is great because I drool. The portion meant for your head is plenty thick once you inflated it, and honestly for the price I think this product will last me years and years. All the stitching is great, and with proper care I believe I will remain very satisfied.

Ok for side sleepers
I bought 4 different travel pillows; (1) the Bcozzy, (2) the Vesta loop neck pillow, (3) the Travelon deluxe wrap-n-rest, and (4) Travelrest all-in-one. There were pluses and minuses for each. I ended up keeping #4, but here are my observations on all 4. I am a side sleeper and have trouble sleeping in any position except with my head sideways toward my shoulder, so these observations may not be relevant for everyone. (1) Bcozzy: the cover is very soft and it compresses in its own bag to a cylinder about 6” across by 8”. The amount of overlap wasn’t enough to hold my head comfortably to one side. It is thinner in one part (the back) which seems good if you can sleep with your head tilted back. (2) Vesta Loop: this pillow is quite a bit narrower around than either of the other 2 “loop” pillows. It also is longer. It has something inside which allows you to smush it into a variety of shapes and it holds that position. The cover is not as soft as the others, but the bottom is a soft mesh fabric which may be cooler. It comes with a storage bag. It doesn’t really compress much, but the bag helps keep it in a tighter form for carrying. Even with the flexibility, I couldn’t find a comfortable position for myself. (3) Travelon: the cover is somewhat soft. The pillow shape seems fixed and wasn’t comfortable for me. The pillow doesn’t compress, nor does it have a carrying bag. It is bulky, the largest of all 4 to carry around. (4) Travelrest: this pillow has a removable cover which is very soft. It did not come with a storage bag, but when all the air is out it can be rolled up and secured with the elastic band sewn on the narrow end. It looks odd when filled but was the most comfortable for me in my preferred position. I ended up keeping (4) Travelrest because it is the only one I can see actually sleeping with. I tried all while still in a narrow chair (similar to airplane seating) but haven’t actually used it on a flight.

Not comfortable
We tried this on a 6 hour flight and it was not comfortable, it packed up conveniently and inflated with 3 breaths but did not support my head.

Finally! I slept well on a flight when not at a window seat!
Finally!! To say that I’ve been on a hunt for a way to sleep on a plane is an understatement. I’ve done a ton of Google searches, read every top 10 list and polled my friends. And, no matter what I did, I couldn’t find a pillow or neck surround or gadget to make me comfortable enough to sleep on a plane when I’m not at the window. And then came this! Hallelujah!! In 3 big puffs, this is blown up and ready to use. It sits on either side of my body so I can “roll over” or lean the other way if I’m sick of sleeping toward my left or right. And it’s not a stiff neck pillow so I can make it comfy by adding or removing air to make it work for me. And guess what?! I fell asleep on a flight quickly and stayed asleep! A few great things: It’s super light and easy to carry once it’s rolled up… which is also easy to do. (I was worried it’d be like an air mattress and never go back to being empty enough to roll it.) The cover is super soft and felt nice on my cheek. The hole that you puff into is sealed so you don’t have to speed to close the latch. Air won’t escape as you try to close the stopper. Did people look at me a little funny as I pulled it out, blew it up and settled it around me so I could sleep? Yep! Was I more comfortable than them through the whole flight? Also yep! I finally found my travel buddy for long flights. So grateful!

Comfortable, but a bit more fiddly to set up and can intrude on a neighbour's seat.
I wavered between 3 and 4 stars here. The ability to grasp it with your arm is very useful and unique among travel pullows, especially if you like to sleep hugging a pillow. I was able to sleep decently for about 4 hours on an overnight international flight in Economy class - my first use of it.. However, it is more fiddly than other travel cushions. Fastening it to your seat with the supplied cable/strap is a giant pain in the behind. They really would benefit from an instructional video for how to use the strap, especially as they've changed the strap buckle design. Also, in Economy class where seats are quite close, if you have broadish shoulders (ie men) you'll intrude on your neighbour's space if you try and hang it off the headrest with a strap. That said, it is quite comfortable (esp the velour cover version) when you get it right, esp for an inflatable. Deflating it makes it very easy to transport, more so than the Trtl (which I also have).

A Little Extra Cost - but a LOT of Extra VALUE - This thing is the BEST
This is THE best travel pillow I've ever used (and I've bought a ton of them). This thing looks kind of goofy - but it is SO comfortable. You can use it while leaning against the window, but even in a middle or aisle seat, this thing makes it comfortable to fall asleep. It is easy to inflate (it takes me about 3 big breaths to have it totally inflated. The valve seems sturdy and is easy to open/close. If the pillow is too firm, it is easy to open the valve and let a tiny bit of air out to soften it. The cover is soft against your face and feels snugly. It deflates and folds up quickly ad compactly. I used this to sleep on flights of over 10 hours and I couldn't believe how comfortable this pillow is. It is WELL worth the little bit extra cost to have and I would 10/10 recommend it.

Perfect for air travel and road trips!
This is perfect for travel. I can use it for my neck, lower back and even between my knees when I sleep. Easy to pack as well for air travel. Also works well in the car! I'm glad I got this version with the soft cover.

Surprisingly amazing
I was pretty sceptical about this but gave it a go, and it was amazing! It's the best sleep I've ever had on a long haul flight, even after I got stuck in the middle seat. It works in so many different ways, which let's you shift around a bit and it's a great barrier against wandering elbows when you're stuck in the middle! I would highly recommend.

Comodo
