I'm really happy with the OBSBOT webcam. I got it because I was upgrading from an Insta360 Link 2 and specifically wanted something compatible with the Rodecaster Video because of its uncompressed video signal. It's been a great fit for podcasting and creating academic class content. The image quality is sharp and clean, and the AI tracking works smoothly without feeling distracting. I'm running it on an M5 MacBook Pro through a CalDigit TS4, alongside a Rodecaster Duo, PodMic, and Rodecaster Video, and everything integrates without issues. Overall, it's a noticeable upgrade from a standard webcam and delivers a more polished, professional look. Highly recommend it for creators and educators.

Simple to setup. Follows commands, and got it on sale! Great choice for streaming. Strong quality. Zooms easy. Works very well. Stable on the monitor.

I use this camera as a second camera for my livestreams and recorded videos. I also use it for tutorials as I love how it follows me and also focuses on my whiteboard when I am presenting topics for my classes and tutorials. This is a great camera. I love the quality picture. For the most part this camera's quality is almost as good as my mirrorless camera I use as my primary.

Initially seemed a little glitchy, but I use it for meetings as well as teaching. It has a lot more bells and whistles than what I need, but definitely worth the money.

I really wanted to like the OBSBOT Tiny 4K. On paper, it looks like a dream: crisp video, AI auto-framing, gesture controls, 4K resolution, plug-and-play USB connection. For casual Zoom calls? Maybe it’s fine. But if you’re a content creator or podcaster who uses OBS (or any NLE software for post-production), this webcam is an absolute nightmare — and I’m returning it. I run a professionally structured weekly podcast, filmed with two people on screen using OBS Studio, a Rodecaster Duo audio interface, and a computer more than capable of handling high-end video production. I switched to the OBSBOT from a Sony ZV-1, hoping to simplify our process and streamline my workflow by removing the need to sync external audio in post-production. That was a huge mistake. The OBSBOT Tiny introduces significant video latency — meaning your video feed consistently lags behind your audio by several hundred milliseconds. OBS detects the webcam as a 4K source just fine, but the video feed is so delayed that no amount of in-app audio sync offset fixes it. Even applying a 1000ms delay to the audio does nothing. It’s like OBS doesn’t recognize the offset at all when paired with this webcam. I did everything right: Disabled global audio sources and tested scene-based capture. Used advanced audio properties and tried offsets from 100ms to 1000ms. Verified I was using a single active audio source (Rodecaster). Tried multiple USB-C ports (including bypassing a Thunderbolt dock). Triple-checked every OBS setting, driver, and camera control panel setting. Nothing worked. If you’re a content creator, streamer, or podcaster using OBS or similar software, do not waste your money on this camera. The video looks decent, but it will throw off your entire workflow and cost you hours of troubleshooting and editing headaches. A $30 HDMI capture card with a real camera will do better. This may work for Zoom or Microsoft Teams calls, but it’s completely unsuitable for anyone producing publishable video content. Returning this and going back to what works.

I was so excited to receive this, but it took 2 days longer than the projected 2 weeks of delivery. It gets hot, although I haven't seen that this reduces the performance but when it worries me. Also when you change the temperature to Auto, it seems not to save this setting and you have to go in every time to reset it. It is very annoying. It also doesn't work in telegram. The video quality is okay it blew the webcam of my Z Flip 6 out of the water but it still wasn't what I thought it would be. I am not sure what to feel about it, I feel like returning it but I also feel like keeping it. I have decided to keep it and give a bad review I don't know why it is a mixed feeling. Also, the AI thing gets lost a lot you have to do a lot of presets to make sure you keep it in range if you are not one for exploring you might hate this thing, it doesn't come out of the bag great you have to do some good twerking. If you are not one for that, you might want to pass. However, it is sure to blow whatever low-end camera out of the water and the quality is good, it really is good. Again, it makes me uncomfortable in my chair. I feel I will grow into it, let's see.

Lacks value for money. Poor performance in low light.

Great little camera. Great resolution and tons of features. Love the tracking and zoom function. Has a magnetic base so can be placed on a variety of metal objects. It also response to voice commands. Software is easy to use and able to preset and control various parameters within the camera.

Great product. 4K video makes the difference.
