I absolutely love this enlarged, thickened metal agave! It has become the focal point of my outdoor planters and adds beautiful architectural interest year-round. Just received the blue agave metal plant and it is beautiful! There is some small assembly required but the item is mostly in one piece. Just put in the last few leaves and then screw in the round base to the bottom along with the black stake that goes into the ground. Full instructions are provided that explain each step. Very sturdy piece and even though it is metal you can bend the leaves down to have an open look or display however you like. No piece in the middle to mess with and no solar to worry about. The blue color is similar to turquoise/aqua and is beautiful with the gold. It is easy to assemble and stick into the ground. I added some rock and dirt to the inside base and around the bottom of the plant to secure it to the ground. Even with the deep stake it can still wabble in the wind. The rock decorated at the bottom keeps the entire plant secure and adds a unique look while keeping it stable. I have purchased several more colors because these look real and add so much color to a dull garden like mine where nothing will grow.

I'm a bit nervous about how these will hold up in the long run because I live in a humid area. I may have to bust old the rustoleum clear coat to make sure they stay nice. But they're easy to assemble and the color is nice. I put one between two raised beds to keep my dog from squeezing between them, and another in a plastic pot for a large but attractive doorstop for my shed door. It's lightweight and easy to move but it looks hefty and it's tall enough to keep the door from shutting on me, so as long as it stays rust free for a couple of years and doesn't fade, they're a big win for us!

Wow! Our neighbors even think this is a real plant. We put in a large pot and topped with rocks. Looks great together. Had held up to a few big storms, no issues.

I’ve gradually added a number of these “plants” to my former flowerbeds due to my seeming inability to keep a real plant alive. In Northern MI the ones that are a couple years old are a little faded compared to the newer ones so I imagine that southern state sun that can blister the paint off cars might be a little much for them. I’ve started adding an additional top coat of paint to the new ones to give the color a little more longevity, but they look decent faded too. An average wind doesn’t seem to phase them. They hold their shape pretty well throughout the summer with only occasional adjustments. I harvest them every fall to store them in a tote through the winter, they wouldn’t survive Michigan snow, they bend when hit with air from the leaf blower, so a few hundred pounds of snow would smash them pretty bad, but they come apart and a number of them fit into a single tote nicely to be replanted in the spring, just like my real gardening friends brag about, so I no longer feel left out. Additionally, accepting my black thumb and no longer attempting to improve that part of myself is a good financial move as I’m no longer spending hundreds of dollars in live plant victims and gardening supplies and it appears to offend gardening purists which is a bonus I had not anticipated. Overall, I’ve been happy enough to order them several times.

Easy to assemble and are beautiful

金属の葉の丈夫さや色合いは良いのですが、根本部分が弱く、風で曲がります。 なおかつ、全体の形づくりがすごく困難で、ボルト締めたり緩めたりしながらの作業になり、あきらめようかと思ったほどです。 葉の根元が平面なので、円形に開こうとすると、葉同士が干渉して塗装が剥げます。 ようやく形らしくなっても土に埋める固定金具がついてないので、市販金具を工夫する必要があります。 風対策と固定に周りに岩を置きました。 こうなると、まぁ見栄えも良い気がしますが、仕様を知っていたら絶対に買いません。

Easy to put together

2 of 3 items sent are perfect and as described. 1 however as seen in photos was supplied with a very cheap and nasty version of mounting the leaves on, just a long bolt, so when inserted into ground it doesn't hold as it doesn't have the 2 prong spiked base. Not very happy do not buy as item sent doesn't match description. Very deceitful.
