The Hot Chick [DVD]

This is a film that sees a take on the old idea of people swapping bodies which has been done so many times that it does feel old before I have even started to watch this but as Rob Schneider is someone who I have seen other films by that have made me laugh I decided to give this a chance. The film is well enough done and does have a few laughs but it is just an idea that I think has been done too many times and maybe needs to be given a miss.

The story sounded a bit lame, a guy trapped in a teenage girls body, but my wife wanted to see this film. i was wrong about this film, its hilarious with great acting and characters that are very believable. im nt a big rob sneider fan but he deserves a lot of praise for this role. im glad i didnt pass up the opportunity to see this film based on what i thought couldnt work. im happy to be prooved wrong!

Definitely worth purchasing if you haven't seen this. Great acting and is simply hilarious. Anyone who says different obviously hasn't got a sense of humour 😂

I initially thought this film was a blast when I watched it years ago (when I was young and naive) but having re-watched it now I see that, even back then Hollywood was attempting to program people for the acceptance of gender reversal (men can be women and women can be men, which is biologically impossible) A good film if you don't mind being brainwashed.

I suppose you have to have a certain mentality to like things like this, but I've always loved body-swapping movies, and Rob Schneider is really amazing as a bitchy teenage girl suddenly coming to the realization that no one actually likes her; they're only friends with her to avoid being targets of her bullying.

I first saw this film in Canada when it was first released. And to be honest, I wasn't expecting much from it when I read the back of the case. The plot seemed too far-fetched & silly. Cheerleader Jessica steals some earrings from a shop and ends up losing one of them when getting gas at a petrol station which is being robbed. The next morning she wakes up to find herself in 30 year old man's body. Together with a group of her friends including Anna Faris (Lost in Translation, Scary Movie, Friends series 10,) Jessica must reunite the two earrings so she can return to her own body before it is too late.I'm happy to say that I couldn't have been more wrong about my first impressions. Rob Schneider is excellent, in what I think is one of his very best roles. He is alarmingly perfect for the role of the popular Jessica, especially when prancing around in little t-shirts & having pillow fights!If you want a light-hearted albeit ridiculous comedy then you should check this movie out. It shows what a talented actor Rob Schneider really is, something that doesn't always get across in his other films.See it!

The DVD arrived in perfect condition, still packaged and quicker than expected. I'm very happy with it what I bought all round.

Teen style flick,reminiscent of freaky friday with a twist,- popular teen girl swaps bodies with lawbreaker and thief by mistake and they end up living in each others body,s until they find a solution to their problem, Very very funny and enjoyable movie.
