Strong & Durable
We replaced an identical motor on our Campbell Hausfeld 60 gallon compressor, that lasted 8 years/7 days a week of use, with this new motor from Amazon. I hooked it up today and it is flawless and I think we can get another 8 years out of it. This motor is very strong with a lot of torque and is thermally protected/ it shuts off when overheated. As I type, this new motor has been running for a few hours now and I went out to check it and it is slightly warm to the touch, since the older motor was blistering hot to the touch. This is a quality electric motor.

Not a quality part. It was only in service 6 months before it died.
The 3.7 hp motor only lasted 6 months. The quality of these motors is subpar. Unfortunately, this is the third motor I replaced for my business in the last year. These aren't built to last. They start out running great, but after a short period of time, they overheat and lose torque. I've installed a 5HP Century motor, so hopefully, it will last longer.

Don’t waste your money terrible product wasted my time and money purchasing this.
This product is terrible lasted a few moths and started smoking and making noises. It was a lot lighter the the original motor I had so I knew it was definitely lesser quality but was in a bind and figured I would try it out but big mistake almost caught on fire it got so hot. I would definitely not recommend anyone buy this product ever!! Says it has warranty till 2026 but still can’t get my money back. Definitely look at all the reviews first before buying on Amazon.

Perfect Replacement for Old Coleman Compressor
The original motor on my (deceptively labeled) "5 Horsepower" Coleman Powermate compressor began stalling and tripping its internal circuit breaker when trying to start under pressure. The original motor had a nameplate rating of 15/7.5 amps at 115/230 volts. I replaced it with this motor rated 17.2 amps at 230 volts. The replacement motor fit perfectly and has worked flawlessly so far.

Absolutely, replace with the same horsepower, or you will blow out the gaskets in your pump.
It works exactly as I'd hoped. Quieter than my old one. I'm very happy

It lasted a year with infrequent use
Lasted just over a year with very minimal use. I would recommend buying a different one than this. The quality seemed alright during install. I had it on an older 80 gallon compressor and the old one lasted 20 years so was hoping this one would atleast make it 10 years. Wish I could exchange it and give them a second chance but no response from their customer service 😕
