Super product, very tight fit for my stove when you shut the door but I don’t mind that. Glue which comes with the rope is super too. Will order same again once we need a new seal.

The silicone adhesive was easy to use and the fire rope seems good quality.

Used to replace a totally worn out gasket on a wood burning stove . When it was replaced using this kit, the door was a tight fit. However, a perfect seal which has eased with use. The fire now works perfectly and the burn rate is much better.

The rope was easy to fit and at time of installation on a storax riva 40 stove ,was a good tight fit .However,don't know how long it will stay like that . The end sealing tape was rubbish first attempt did not shrink on or stick properly… had to apply glue . The glue was fine at fitting and plenty plenty stuff to do job .

Fantastic rope that is really easy to apply, but I would prepare clean the door, and place the glue all around and then place the rope and weight down. Weight a good 24 hrs before reassembly and use! Could not fault this

This gasket was a much better option than the previous one we had used, it is the thickness of the 12 mm that has improved the heat output from the fire, it has made such a difference.

Just as advertised and ready to follow instructions. Easy to apply. Well worth it help keep the fireplace maintained. 👍🏼

Arrived early. The gasket looked to be of good quality. It was pretty easy to install made a good seal on my pellet stove.

Great kit. Affordable. So far working perfectly. On my old stove. Before, Sometimes smoke would bellow out around the door when lighting the stove or backdrafts. So i installed this kit this morning and let the silicone cure a bit before lighting the stove. The first hour with the door wide open than the remaining cure time with door closed(door may struggle to close at first until a new groove is worn into the gasket) once i lit the stove the gasket made a nice inlay for a good seal. Note i put the cut rope side to the hinges (as thats the most clamping force) and also 45• cut both sides of the rope so it would overlap itself like a scarf joint in trim work. Instead of using that silly tape they supply. (Picture are before new gasket was installed) note the discoloration on the pellet stove door. Thats where heat and smoke was escaping before reseal)

This is Not a 14mm rope. Too much pressure on the door when closed. Hd to remove it and fit a correctly sized 14mm rope.
