Works ok needs a big hammer
The media could not be loaded. Used 12 pound big hammer. The old stem broke off and a portion remains in the tire. On an Offroad vehicle like mine it’s ok. As you may see in the video I tried to get in under the old stem but it’s tough, even bent the extraction tool, which isn’t very heavy duty. A harder carbon steel may have helped. But once I got the old one off, the area cleaned, the new valve stem lubed with break grease and inserted, it took air and doesn’t leak even now a month later.

Fails as a puller as well as install tool
As other mentioned, the removal tool hook is too big to fit into the valve opening. It's made out of thick but soft steel rod, i managed to get mine it, but it broke into 3 pieces on a pull attempt. The funnel for installation might work on steel wheels, but if there's an indent fir the valve opening in your aluminum wheel it won't fit in. Good idea, very poor execution.

Not for alloy rims
Didn't work with alloy rims as I couldn't get the tool pass the valve to pull out the valve stem. Ended up just popping the bead and replacing the valve stem. The supplied valve stems worked well.

Worked great for a trailer stranded at a work site
This took a few tries to get right, but once I did, it was fast and perfect.I recommend dipping the new valve in bubble soap for ease of use. Also, this particular package came with some valves. I had bought some not knowing that, so the seperate pack of valves is unnecessary.

Funnel worked but needed modifying
Be sure to check how much clearance you have around the valve stem on the rim. This funnel’s outer diameter was too thick so I couldn’t get it flush with the rim for it to work on my Toyota Highlander 2004.The plastic funnel is durable and took me about an hour filing it down on a curb and with a knife to make it thin enough to sit flush with my rim. Once I could place it flush, it worked very well. Make sure to use some silicone paste on the valve stem and it’ll easily push through the whole funnel. Maybe other’s broke because they weren’t using lubricant and just hammering it through? Also, not sure how the hook works, I had used a flat head prior to ordering this to get the old valve stem out.Good value if you have enough clearance in the rim around your valve stem, otherwise order a thin metal kit. 2-3 stars from me because of my rim, but leaving it at 4 since I’m unsure if others would have the same problem.

Does the Job
Worked for me. Reviews are clearly conflicting; one must realize that this product is the budget version of the AME kit, and treat is as such. You may have to adjust the gap of the puller hook. I held the old stem off to one side and used the knockout as leverage to insert the hook at the weak point, and then took 2 tries to install the new stem; keeping the tube lined up and flush is a bit challenging, and the final push needs to be strong yet controlled. Take your time and save your brute strength for busting lug nuts.

Good in Theory Only!
I watched some You Tube videos on this type of product and thought it was just too easy. I was right. Purchased this item to replace a cracked valve stem in one of my trailer tires. Received it the next day (great job Amazon). Getting the old valve stem was the issue. It's not as easy as the videos or directions showed. The T-shaped removal tool was cheap and weak! It struggled to get into the hole where the valve stem was and then it couldn't get it out. The rod on the tool bend way to easily and then the "U" shaped end broke off inside my tire! I was able to use a magnet to get it out. The install of the new valve stem was easy. Now this "T" handled removal tool is useless with no hook on the end! I would not recommend this item unless you want a one-time use item for a whopping $27.

Worked Great. Just needed a few minor adjustments
The tool works very well if you make a few adjustments to it FIRST. The hole for my valve (boat trailer tire) in the rim is about 0.4" diameter. The hook on the tool is larger than that out of the box. I first used a pair of vice grips to squeeze the tip down to about 0.4" wide. Then I ground a small bevel on the tip so it would not hang up on the rim. If you don't do this you MIGHT be able to pound it into the hole, but you will never get it out without removing the tire. The valve came out relatively easily with a little dish soap on it.I cleaned the hole with a Dremel. The new valve went in perfectly. I lubed the insertion tube with a little grease and I used a mallet to push it into the rim. Landed perfectly on the first try. No leaks and the tool is good as new for next time.10 minutes total if you include the time to modify the tool.
