Lurpak Lighter Spreadable Blend of Butter and Rapeseed Oil 400g

I order these monthly from amazon. I like the convenience of having it delivered to the door and that they are reasonably priced. This taste the same as the original lurpak but has less the calories but the quality remains. Easily spreadable and never lasts as long you want it! The full household loves it

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This spread changed my life, my destiny, and possibly my cholesterol. Listen. I didn’t think butter could emotionally move me. I didn’t think a “lighter spreadable blend” could make me question my life choices. But here we are. I opened the tub and I swear I heard a faint angelic choir humming in the background. Not full volume, just a gentle “ahhhh” like heaven approving my breakfast. This thing spreads on toast like it’s been training for the Olympics. No tearing, no crumbling, no violent stabbing motions. Just smooth… controlled… buttery excellence. And let’s talk about the taste. It’s “lighter,” yes, but NOT that depressing “I’m on a diet and I hate myself” lighter. It’s more: “I’m making healthier choices but still living my best buttery life.” I put it on toast… amazing. On crumpets… life-changing. On a jacket potato… I transcended dimensions. At one point I looked at the tub and whispered, “Where have you been all my life?” It didn’t answer… but it understood. Even my family started acting differently. The cat sat closer. The kids were nicer. My toast gained confidence. I don’t want to exaggerate but… this butter may have healed some emotional wounds. If you want a spread that glides like a figure skater, tastes like hope, and convinces you you’re making responsible adult choices, Lurpak Lighter is your guy. 10/10. Would happily butter everything I own with it. 🧈😂

Great favourite spread on a crusty slice. Quite easy to spread straight from the fridge, still retains the great slightly salted flavour. Also great in mashed potatoes.

Nice but is expensive.

I bought Lurpak butter for toast. That was my first mistake. The toast was supposed to be the star of breakfast, but the moment Lurpak arrived, it became a background extra with no speaking lines. I spread some onto a slice and the butter melted so perfectly that I checked the packaging for evidence of witchcraft. The texture was smoother than my last five life decisions combined. After the first bite, I stood motionless in my kitchen staring out the window like a character who had just received devastating news. The news was that all other butter now had to compete with this. I tried putting a sensible amount on my toast. The butter and I disagreed on what “sensible” meant. By the third slice I was spreading it with the determination of a medieval king distributing land. At one point I accidentally dropped the knife and instinctively tried to save the butter before the knife. The butter didn’t even seem grateful. It just sat there looking rich and creamy. I offered some to a friend. They took one bite and immediately became unavailable for further conversation. The butter had their full attention. Five stars. If Lurpak started charging rent for living in my fridge, I’d probably pay it.

Love this spread . Goes a long way . Shame it’s so. Expensive now . Tried other similar brands but lacks the same unique texture as this brand .
