Isadora Original Refried Beans 12.3 oz (Pack of 1)

Tasty, cheap, and quick to prepare, it's nice to have a few packages of these beans on hand for an easy side dish. The expiration dates on the packages I received are about a year away from now.

These are creamy and bland- perfect for being able to add your own touch to them. I had tried the black beans from this brand (delicious!!) and had high hopes for these- and I wasn't disappointed. Like the refried black beans, they'll be perfect for a wide range of uses- bean dips, refried beans, huevos rancheros, enchiladas/tacos/burritos, etc. And, with some broth and spices added, a quick bean soup. I love that the pouch has just enough for 1-2 servings, and it doesn't impart weird flavors like I've encountered w/cans. Will definitely make it a point to keep these on hand for those nights when cooking just seems like too much- I made a quick bean dip w/some grated cheese and spices in under 5 min.

These are delicious! I often make my own refried beans and freeze them but I wanted to try these for convenience. These will go with us when we camp in our RV this summer. They are better than canned beans in flavor and texture. They need salt IMO but it's nice I can add my own seasonings.

We're really happy to find this product. Rich, creamy, delicious, and easy to prepare. Just heat in the pouch and serve. I'll never buy refried beans in a can again. Never ever.

For a quick lunch or dinner, make with rice. Wonderful.
