Compact, well built, nice tripod. Answered one question: Is the ball head removable?Answer: Not readily ... My workaround is to add a TARION Aluminum Alloy 50mm Quick Release Plate QR Clamp Base Holder to the Noeler small QR plate ... adds minimal weight/bulk, lets me use my larger Arca Standard QR plates ... or their smaller one. Very happy with this Noeler tripod, well built ... bought two.

The legs need to be tightened and loosened, as one would expect, to be extended. It's very hard to get a grip on them because they are so slippery. In addition, if the legs go too high into the tube, they get stuck. So, the convenience of a very light, very cleverly folded tripod for travel was outweighed by the difficulty of opening it up. I thought I might get used to it, but it didn't get any easier, so I returned it.I even asked someone whose hands are much stronger than mine to try it, and he wasn't able to help.I wish it had worked out better.

Very nice, small folded size but awfully heavy, that's great when you're using it because it's stable. In my backpack, heavy isn't an asset.

The small size is all this tripod has going for it. It is very flimsy, the legs are stiff and hard to extend. the twist release are difficult to work. Not worth the money. I returned it and bought the Ranger 67 for a few dollars more but worth it. The Noeler is not usable for anything certainly not photographing

I bought this tripod specially for my fall season shoot. I had to travel to many places carrying my camera and tripod. I just love the way how compact it is. it is easy to fold and open. It also has a hook for some weight or may be you can hang yoir camera bag there. When i used my regular camera it worked fine. but i had to hang some weight when i used my heavier professional camera for extra stability.

The tripod can shink to a very small size, which is convenient when traveling. But the ball head is so weak that it barely hold my camera: D850 + Sigma 35mm f1.8. The camera cannot maintain at a steady level as the ball head is so loose even if I twist the knob so hard.My suggestion is if you have a small camera, you can try this. But for DSLR, don't buy.

This thing is really small and nice!It works great and transforms down to a really small size which is very versitile.Great quality super solid construction!

I got this tripod because of its size and weight. It folds down to an incredibly small size for how tall this tripod can get! And the light weight is great for attaching to a camera bag. But because it’s light be sure not to set this thing up on a windy day or have a large telephoto lens tip it over.
