Why I ordered this item: My old GPU was starting to struggle with newer titles and I wanted to step up to something that could handle modern games without dropping frames constantly. I do a lot of gaming at around 1440p and I wanted ray tracing to be usable, not just technically on. Likes: * This card is zippy. I was not ready for how smooth everything became at 1440p with DLSS 3 running. Frame generation is kind of bonkers when you first see it in action. * Thermals are good. I run this in a mid-tower with decent airflow and the card barely gets warm. The fans spin up under load and then settle back down pretty quick. * The card itself looks snazzy in my case. The dual fan cooler has a clean look to it and its not trying too hard like some of the RGB monsters out there. * Ray tracing is playable now. I tried a few titles that murdered my old card and this one handled them without breaking a sweat. No likes: * The memory bandwidth is a little on the lower side for a card in this class. Most games won't notice, but its something to keep in mind if you're pushing really high res textures. Would I pay full price for this product: Yes Final thoughts: This card is a great pick for 1440p gaming and DLSS 3 makes a huge difference in frame rates in the titles that support it. The cooling setup keeps temps low even under sustained load. If you want ray tracing without spending an insane amount of money, this is where I'd land.

I was using a RTX 2060, I did a graphic test on it before I upgraded to the 4060, and for under 300 I was amazed how much it improved. I was hesitant on getting this but glad I did, now I play 7D2D on ultra settings.

I do mostly video work & never game. Purchased to upgrade from GTX1650 (Volta) & GTX1650 Super (Turing) used for video transcoding. Pros: Lovelace engine, faster clocking, 2x cores & more memory combine for x264 & x265 GPU encoding 20-30% faster with same profiles. Technically has AV1 hardware encoding, but no software I use has implemented it in other than "Nightly" builds Die improvements means 4060 draws less power, runs cooler and quieter than 1650S. At 95-100% GPU load, temps rise from low 40s C to 53C and fan goes from 0 rpm to 1160 rpm (still silent) Cons: Been using HDMI on GTX1650S without problems. HDMI out of RTX4060 would not play nice with my 1440p monitor. Screen would go black every 1-2 mins and recover. Video playback displayed flickering blue/green cobwebs in darker areas. Was using latest nVidia 546.01 driver - downgraded to 536.67 with same results. Tried a couple other quality HDMI cables - same. Did not have 5' DP cable - had to purchase one to bypass problem. Guessing some lack of backwards compatibility with HDMI v1.4 on monitor. Other thoughts: PNY website pretty, but very limited. "Drivers" link just redirects to nVidias reference page. A "VBIOS" update is offered, but 0 info on what it is for. At least grab a PDF manual and then don't bother returning.

Pasar de una 1660 super a una rtx 4060 se nota de inmediato, mi monitor es 4k así que puedo aprovecharla mucho mas y puedo jugar todos los juegos que tengo en gráficos altos sin problema, tiene temperatura estable y rinde muy bien, obvio lo único malo es que es de 8G, pero considero que es algo normal y estándar por lo que noble preocupo mucho. En general fue una muy buena compra para actualizar mi pc

The 50 series is out now and if a RTX 5070=4090 performance than I just got hosed for $300 bucks for a 60 class card of the 40 series .. but it works

For $289 you can't go wrong with this card.

Ho scelto questa GPU per l'abbondanza di core tensor CUDA, dato che la uso principalmente per usare modelli AI piuttosto complessi. Nonostante non e' l'ammiraglia della generazione 40XX, riesce comunque a difendersi bene tenendo bassi i consumi ( cosa non banale ).

Ras, fonctionne très bien. Conforme à mes attentes.
