I have tried others in vain, so my expectations were not high. To my delight, this mirror is perfect - the size, shape, (understated but nice black) cover, clarity of the image in the mirror. Highly recommended for carrying in the purse. It is small enough for my small purse and the best $4 purchase I've made in a very long time.

A small mirror that is honestly super useful, so slim, and easy to store just about anywhere. I planned on this mirror being used for a travel shave kit, but ended up using it for flossing the evening after receiving this in the mail, and wow! No more needing to lean over the bathroom counter, straining your back, if you need a close-up view in the wall-mounted mirror. This is much smaller and "compact" compared to other countertop mirrors, which is great because I can leave it on the counter without having things look cluttered. Also, the fact that this closes up means the mirror always stays clean, and free of grime. This one will still go in my toiletries bag for my shave kit, but at such a low price, I'll probably buy a couple more. I'm thinking of putting one in my glove box because I have a toiletries kit in my truck with stuff like dental picks for when you're done eating a meal, or nail clippers for those annoying bits of skin on your fingers that suck to pull off, and this mirror would be great even for getting a look at your eyes when an eyelash wants to betray you. ANYWAYS....I highly recommend this mirror, it's super useful to more than just the ladies, and this is honestly a pretty underrated item for a variety of self-care situations. Oh! And the build quality is really good. The mirror has a pretty hefty weight for its small size, the hinge isn't loose or flimsy, and overall feels like good build quality.

Perfect compact mirror.

I like this a lot, nice size, clear lens, compact, flat, black cover feels great in hand, easy to open, thin. Nice stiff hinge, holds position. Good travel or pocket mirror will buy again, nice variety of colors and looks, credit card size but not too small. Plenty of viewing space and magnification is decent. I could see buying a few of these to have them handy around the house, I think this works well for man or woman. Sturdy case. Overall nice finish. great value.

Handy size and clear mirror.

Being somewhat vain, I carry a small mirror to adjust my hair and beard on windy days. I have tried a lot of these, and this one has emerged as a winner. The regular and magnified images are distortion-free. The corners of the case are rounded, so there are no sharp corners to scrape my hand or cut my pants pocket. The PU "leather" looks nice and provides a sure grip, making the mirror easy to hold in one hand while I comb/brush with the other. It's a bit thicker than some others, but this provided protection when I've dropped it. I recommend this mirror both for its function and its price.
